Goal: fun
Materials: none
Activity: Pick one girl to be "Mr. Bear" (or if you're like us...Mrs. Bear). All the other girls are in a group away from Mr. Bear. Mr. Bear closes his eyes and squats down. All the other girls slowly walk toward him whispering "Mr. Bear, are you awake?" over and over, getting louder as they get closer. When Mr. Bear thinks they are close enough, he gets up and chases after the group, tagging as many people as he can. Those who were tagged, become cubs and help tag people. However, the cubs cannot jump up and begin tagging people until Mr. Bear does. Continue playing this way until everyone has been tagged. |
