Name Game

Goal: Learn names Materials: None Activity:  There are SO many of these games its not even funny, and we're pretty sure everyone already knows most of them.  They are the typical "I went on a picnic and took..."  And they say something that starts with the first letter their name starts with.  For example...My name is Zoey and I took a Zebra.  Then, the next person says their name, what they took, and the previous person's name and what they took.  So, it would go like this:  "My name is Pokey and I took a Pineapple, her name is Zoey and she took a Zebra."  This continues around the circle until it gets back to the first person. Adaptions: 1. You can go ANYWHERE!  A picnic is not the only place. :) 2. You can add a little kinesthetics to this game.  The person goes into the middle of the circle and does the action of what they took (this makes it a little more tricky) and the actios of everyone before them.  So, Zoey could take a zipper and pretend to zip up her coat.  Pokey could take a Penguin and walk around the circle like one.
