The Phrase Game
Purpose: To think on your feet

Materials: Prepared situations and phrases

Instructions: One memeber from each team is given a phrase that she must work into a conversation about a given situation.  A minimum of three sentences must be used before the given phrase can be used.  The first one to say their phrase wins.

Example:
Person One's Phrase: "Do you have socks on?"
Person Two's Phrase: "I like Corvettes."

Person One: Did I see you at the gym today?
Person Two: Yeah, I was there.  Did you notice the cars parked out front?
Person One: No, why do you ask?
Person Two: Because didn't I ever tell you that I like Corvettes?

Adaptions: Instead of making this a winning game, the two people could work together.  Each person gets a phrase.  Person one says their phrase and the use that to begin a conversation.  They continue the conversation in a sensible and understandable mannor until they work in the second person's phrase.  So, they begin with one phrase and end with the other.  Remember...the conversation has to make sense!!!
