Trust Walk

Goal: Trust and team building Materials: long rope, blindfolds (depending on type of walk) Activity:  There are many different ways in order to do a trust walk.  We listed them below. 1. Have each girl get a partner.  One will be blindfolded and the other one will lead her places.  Try going up and down stairs or hills and through other types of obsticles. 2. Have all the girls get in a line (one behind the other) and blindfold all but the first girl.  All the other girls hold onto the shoulders of the girl in front of them.  The front person needs to communicate with everyone what is coming up.  Try to make it through difficult obsticles without having any girl let go or breaking the chain. 3. Put all the girls in one group, standing in a fairly close clump.  Tie a rope around all of them and see if they can communicate together in order to travel to another destination.  This may sound easy, but it is actually fairly difficult.  NOTE: Use thick rope for this and not rope that will injure the girls in any way.
