ONE POT RECIPES
Master Plan One Pot Meals (serves 10-12)
2 lbs hamburger
2 T chopped onions
2 cans tomato sauce
2 tsp peppers
salt and pepper to taste

Brown hamburger with onion and peppers.  Drain grease.  Add tomato sauce, seasonings, and ingredients to make any of the following variations.

Variation---> Macaroni Beef

1 (12 oz) package macaroni
Boil macaroni according to instructions on package.  Drain and add to Master Pot.

Variation---> Chili

3 (20 oz) cans red kidney beans
2 (20 oz) cans tomatos
chili powder to taste
Add to Master Pot.  Simmer 10 min and serve.

Variation---> Sloppy Joes

10 hamburger buns
Cook Master Pot and serve on buns

Variation---> Hunter's Stew

2 (20 oz) cans mixed vegetables
3 (20 oz) cans of other vegetables such as potatoes, corn, green beans, and tomatoes.
Add to Master Pot.  Simmer 10 min. serve.

Variation---> Spanish Rice

1 small package quick-cook rice
3 cups water
Add water to Master Pot and bring to a boil.  Add rice and remove from heat.  Cover with lid and let stand for 5 minutes.  Serve

Variation---> Mexican Delight

1 (20 oz) can Mexicorn
1 small jar pitted black olives
1 small box cornbread mix
ingrediants for cornbread mix
1 cup water
Add water to Master Pot and bring to boil.  Mix cornbread mix.  Add Mixicorn and olives to cornbread mix.  Add Mexicorn spoonsful into Master Pot.  Cover.  Cook 15 minutes.

Variation---> Campfire Spaghetti
4 (15-16 oz) spaghetti with cheese sauce
Add to Master Pot and simmer for 10 minutes

Variation---> Campout beans

4 (16 oz) cans pork and beans
Add to Master Pot and simmer 10 minutes.

Tuna Burgers (serves 12)
4 small cans of tuna
1/2 lb shredded cheese
1 onion chopped
chopped celery as desired
12 buns

Mix tuna, cheese, onion, and celery together and heat in a kettle.  Place cooked mixture on buns.

NOTE:  Tuna burger may also e prepared by putting the uncooked mixture on buns, wrapping in double foil and placing in coals.

Shipwreck (serves 12)
1 lb ground sausage
1 (2 lb) pkg frozen hash browns
24 eggs

Brown meat.  Remove to paper towel and drain.  Use drippings to cook hash browns.  When hash browns are browned, add the meat.  Then, add the eggs and mix together until eggs are cooked.
Variation----> add onions, cheese, green peppers, mushrooms.

Indoor S'Mores

Pam vegetable cooking spray
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1 T butter
3 cup miniature marshmallows
1 (11 1/2 oz) pkg chocolate morsels
1 (10 oz) pkg graham cereal (8 cups)

Spray rectangular 13x9x2" pan with Pam.  Heat corn syurp, butter and chocolate morsels to boiling in 3 puart pan, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.  Stir in vanilla.  Pour over cereal in large bowl.  Toss until completely coated with chocolate.  Fold in marshmallows, 1 cup at a time.  Press mixture evenly in pan with waxed paper.  Let stand until firm, 1 hour.  Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.

No Bake Cookies
1 stick butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 Tbs cocoa
3 cups quick rolled oats
1/2 cup nuts peanut butter

Bring to boil the butter, sugar, milk, vanilla, and cocoa.  Add oats and peanut butter.  Stir well.  Drop by teaspoons on waxed paper and cool.

Rice Krispy Treats

Melt: 1/2 stick butter
Add: 40 marshmallows
Stir until completely melted.  Cook a couple minutes.  Remove from heat.
Add: 5 cups Rice Krispies (about 5 oz.)
Stir until well coated.  Pour onto large sheet of waxed paper.  Put another sheet on top and press out to desired thickness.  Cool and cup into serving pieces.

SQUAW CORN

2 lbs hamburger
2 T chopped onions
2 cans tomato sauce
2 tsp peppers
1/2 lb diced cheese
3 (20 oz) cans corn
1/2 to 1 package toco seasoning
Brown hamburger, onions and peppers, and drain grease.  Add tomato sauce, corn, and taco seasoning.  Simmer, add cheese and when cheese melts enjoy!
Best when served over Nacho Cheese Doritoes!!! :)

Sopa de Fideo (serves 8)
1 med onion, chopped
1 med green pepper, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 lb hamburger
1 (15 oz) can corn, undrained
1 (28 oz) can tomatoes, undrained
salt, pepper, chili powder to taste
10 oz thin spaghetti
16 slices American cheese

Brown hamburger, push to one side of kettle.  Add spaghetti, broke in to pieces, and brown lightly.  Add onion.  Cook a little, then add green pepper, celery, corn, tomatoes and about 1/2 large can of water.  Add enough water to bring liquid level almost to top of food.

Cover and simmer about 15 to 20 minutes, until spaghetti is tender.  Remove from heat and add 16 slices American cheese.  Let stand, coverd until cheese melts.

One Pot Spaghetti (serves 10)
2 med onions chopped
2 lbs hamburger
2 cans tomatoes, cut up
garlic powder to taste
16 oz spaghetti broken in small pieces
2 Tbs oregano

Brown hamburger with onions until tender.  Pour off grease.  Add remaining ingredients.  Simmer 25 more minutes, covered.  Stir occasionally.

Pizza Fondue (serves 24)
2 lbs hamburger
4 (10 oz) pizza sauce
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup oregano
1 tsp garlic salt
2-3 lbs cheddar cheese
1+ lbs mozzarella cheese
2 loaves French Bread

Brown the hamburger.  Then, add all other ingrediants except the bread.  Cut bread into squared and dip out of bowls or cups...NOT out of pot on fire!

Chinese Mystery (serves 8)
1 pkg thin noodles (could cook at home and bring to the site)
2 lbs hamburger
2 onions chopped
4 cups canned tomatoes
1 bunch celery chopped
1 can tomato soup
salt and pepper to taste

Boil noodles in salt water for 12 min. or according to package directions.  Brown hamburger and onions in pan.  Pour off grease.  Add celery, tomato soup, and tomatoes to hamburger and onions.  Cook until celery is done.  Extra water may be needed.  Add cooked noodles to the mixture and season.

Campfire Fondue (serves 8)
2 cans condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 (12 oz package Swiss cheese shredded
1 loaf French bread or toast cubes

In a small sauce pan heat soup and Swiss cheese until cheese is melted.  Stir frequently to prevent sticking.  To eat the fondue, place cubes of French bread or toast on skewers.  Dip into hot cheese mixture served in cups or bowls.

Chili and Dumplings (serves 6)
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 Tbs dry onion
1 (11 oz) can chili with beef soup
1 soup can water
chili powder- salt if desired
1 (8 1/2 oz) corn muffin mix
2 Tbs parsley
1 egg
1/3 cup milk

Brown the beef and drain the grease.  Add the green pepper onion, beef soup, water and chili powder. Continue cooking over flame until it is boiling.  Blend the corn muffin mix, parsley, egg, and milk in seperate container.  Drop about 1/4 cup of muffin mix into boiling liquid.  Cover immediately and simmer about 15 minutes.

Taco Salad (serves 8)
1 large bag Fritos or Doritos
1 lb hamburger
1 large can chili beans or refried beans
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2-1 pkg taco seasoning to taste
small head lettuce
10 oz pkg cheese, grated
1-2 tomatoes

Brown hamburger with taco seasoning, add chili beans or refried beans, tomato sauce.  Cook until hot.  Serve over Doritos on a plate.  Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes.

Chocolate Pudding (serves 6)
1/2 cup biscuit mix
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup powdered milk
2 1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla

Mix together and bring to a boil.  All ingredients except water may be mixet together ahead of time and carried in a plastic bag to the site.

Snow on the Mountain (serves 10)
5 milk chocolate bars (1/2 oz size)
1 cup shredded or flaked coconut
30 soda crackers

Melt chocolate in pan.  Spread chocolate onto each cracker and sprinkle with coconut.
