Doughboys (serves 10)
3 cups biscuit mix
3/4 cup milk
butter
jelly, jam, or honey

Mix biscuit mix and milk.  If mixture is too sticky, add more mix.  If too dry, add more milk.  Wrap a handful of dough around wide end of a fat roasting stick.  Hold over coals and cook slowly turning frequently.  Biscuit is done when it slips easily, otherwise it is not done in the center.  Take care not to cook outside too fast.  Fill with butter and jelly or honey.

Fairy Rings
10 glazed doughnuts
10 marshmallows

Place one marshmallow in a hole of one doughnut. Push toast fork through side of doughnut into marshmallow and through other side of doughnut.  Hold oever coals until marshmallow is toasted.  Be careful of hot melted sugar.

Donuts on a Stick

1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/3 cup sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
Pre-packaged biscuits

Melt butter in small pan on grill.  Mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside.  Take dough and roll into long strip.  Spiral it around the stick and brown over the flame until it is compeletely done.  Roll in the butter and cover with cinnamon and sugar.

Eggheads (serves 10-12)
6 stale doughnuts
3 eggs

Cut doughnuts into 1" pieces.  Break eggs and beat or put in small container, cover and shake until the eggs are well mixed.  Put doughnut piece on the end of a stick.  Dip into eggs, but don't allow to soak.  Toast over low coals.

marshmallows
graham crackers
chocolate bars

Toast marshmallow on stick.  Put marshmallow and 2 squares of chocolate between two graham crackers.

Pigs In A Blanket (serves 10)
10 hot dogs
1 tube refrigerator biscuits

Thread hot dog on toasting fork.  roll biscuit between hands to make a long thin rope.  Wrap a spiral around hot dog making sure ends are tacked on tightly.  Hold wrapped hot dog over coals, turning until biscuit is golden brown.
Mock Angel Food Cake (serves 10)
1 small loaf unsliced day-old French bread
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup shredded coconut

Trim crusts off bread.  Cut into slices 3/4" thick then into strips 3/4" wide and about 2" long.  Pierce with stick.  Dip (do not soak) strips into sweatened condensed milk and roll in dry shredded coconut.  Toast over coals as you would marshmallows.

Shaggy Dogs (serves 10)
5 chocolate candy bars
1/2 cup milk or
1 can chocolate syrup
1 cup shredded or flaked coconut
1/2 bag marshmallows

Melt chocolate cany adding milk to make a thin syrup.  Toast marshmallows.  Dip into chocolate syrup and then roll in coconut.

Angels on Horseback (serves 12)
12 hot dogs
12 hot dog buns
12 slices of bacon
6 slices of hard cheese cut in half

Slit hot dog and set in half slice of cheese.  Wrap bacon around hot dog and fasten ends of bacon with toothpick.  Put hot dog crosswise on toasting fork.  Cook until bacon is brown.

Kabobs
Alternate on a stick any of the following and grill over a fire.  Ingredients may be basted with barbecue sauce or fruit juices.  Can use bamboo sticks or skewers

Meats: canned meats such as Treet, Spam; hot dogs cut in chunks; ham in chunks; bologna in chunks; any other meat.
Canned vegetables such as potatoes, carrots in chunks, onions.
Fresh vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, that cook quickly.
Canned fruit such as pineapple, peaches, or pears cut in chunks.

Early Morning Kabobs (serves 10)
4 cups fresh or canned fruit (pineapple, oranges, bananas, peach halves, etc.)
2 1/2 cups honey
1/2 cup + 2 Tbs. lemon juice

Thred fruit on long skewers.  Combine honey and lemon juice and blend well.  Brush on fruit.  Hold over fire about 3-4 minutes until heated.  This makes a good dessert also.
Variation: Add brown and serve link sausage with fruit.
