What is CI?

CI is short for Creature Isle, it's the latest and only add-on to the game Black and White and because it's an add-on you will need the Black and White CD to play it.
You are able to bring the creature you raised in B&W to Creature Isle with all of it's personality and knowledge. However, you won't be able to bring the creature that you raised in CI back to Black and White (due to some improvement in CI that don't work in B&W). Now let's list a couple of important issues that make this game different than its predecessor. In Black and White, your objective was to conquer all other gods and to build up a world according to your believes. The main idea was that this world would reflect your personality as a god. It was about you.
Now in CI there are no other gods, there is no competition. There is only peace.

'So with what does that leave you? more villages to take care of? forests to grow?' Lionhead probably didn't feel tat this would make a great game so to add a nice little story to it all they decided to make the game focus more on your creature instead of you.
On this new island where you've arrived there is a Brotherhood. This is a group that consist out a large number of different creatures.
Of course you, as ambitious, alpowerfull god, want a creature that is part of your creature so you want to know how to let your creature join this Brotherhood.
This is harder than it sound because it requires your creature to complete a certain number of trials.

One of these trials is to let your creature raise another creature himself called tyke. Your creature's creature so to say.
Of all challenges this is by far the toughest. You don't have the option to punish tyke yourself so raising him the way you want him to be is rather hard, although there are several ways to avoid problems with tyke.

This is, in a nutshel, what Creature Isle is about. Although it may not be the greatest game of all time it does add a new experience to Black & White. And together with some new miracles and a rough 5 hours of gameplay it may be worth the money it costs when on sale.
