Nansouty's Cavalry prepares to cross the Grosse Laber river just to the West of Eckmuhl.
The 2nd Bavarian Division leads the attacks on the  Austrian II and Reserve corps.
Much battered the French Heavy Cavalry has established a bridge head.  Most of Davout infantry is marching West to get into postion to cross the river and support the Bavarians.
VII Corps with its back to the river.  Yes those are Austrian Grenadiers attacking in the foreground.
Pictures from Little Wars 2001 in Lincolnshire, Il
French Cavalry attempt to cross the Gross Lauber river against Austrian Lights.  The Austrians are flanked, but are buying time to reform and refuse their left.
The VII Corps Bavarians sweeps forward driving the Austrians back.  Substantial French forces are crossing the river and Gudin's division has blasted a bridgehead at Roggins just off the top of the picture.  This was not Archduke Karl's (Frank C.) finest convetion.
The last hurrah of the Austrians.  The IV Korps is crumbling and someone forgot to bring the Grenadiers forward.  The Austrian Heavy Cavalry has just pushed some Bavarians back, but the critical attack did not go off.
