Russian Army Briefing: Several days ago after the battle of Heilsberg your army lost contact with the Prussian Army which was screening you right flank and protecting your supply base at Koenigsberg. You must now get there as soon as possible or face its loss to the French. This would cause you to retreat past the Neimen and take the war, for the first time, onto Russian soil (it's much nicer to be fighting on others soil and ruining their farmers rather than your own). You appear to have outrun the French by at least a day and are able to take the direct path to Koenigsberg rather than going the long way around by following the river. There is some danger in doing this since you don't know exactly where the Prussians or the French are. At any rate quick and decisive action is a must in this risky situation.

The Center may deploy in march column inside the Russian deployment area (i.e. must be strung out in march). The remainder of the army may freely deploy behind the Alle River. Platov, if he arrives in time, may enter as reinforcements at point C. Russians will move first. Game is 14 turns long; first turn is 6AM.

Any bridge the French Artillery fires on is considered destroyed. A French artillery stand may destroy one bridge per die of fire available.

The Alle River is impassible except at the bridges. The darker line of the Muhlenbach is actually a series of millponds with very narrow areas between them. To cross this section of the stream requires a full turn rather than a half (a unit must start adjacent to the Muhlenbach, spend a full turn to move the stand on to the stream and then may move freely across the next turn).

If the bridges across the Alle are destroyed and the road to Koenigsberg is not clear all Russian units on the French side of the Alle must make a minus 1 morale check.

All French Corps level artillery (foot or horse) may limber, move and unlimber in the same turn.

To win the Russian army must clear and hold the road to Koenigsberg free of French (i.e. the road is clear if no French unit can fire on the road or no French unit is able to reach it in normal movement, in one turn, unopposed). In addition you must prevent the French from achieving their victory conditions of destruction of half your army.
