   Quidditch

Players:

Three Chasers:

Throw the Quaffle to each other and try to through it through one of the goal posts to earn ten points for there team.

One Keeper:

Stays near his teams goals trying to stop the opposing team from scoring. Like a gollie.

Two Beaters:

Equipped with large clubs (like wooden baseball bats). Beaters fiy after the bludgers trying to knock them toward the opposing team by hitting them with the clubs.

One Seeker:

The Seeker is usually the smallest and most agile player on the team. They ride around between all the other players looking for the Snitch. When the Seeker catches the snitch,it will end the game and earn his team an extra 150 points. Since Quidditch games don't have time limits, they can go on for a VERY long time.

Balls:

One Quaffle;

Is thrown through any one of the 6 goalposts for 10 points.

Two Bludgers:

Big, heavy balls that go around trying to knock random players off their brooms.

One Golden Snitch:

Very fast, hard to see, and small. It is the most important ball in the game. The game only ends when the Snitch is caught.
