Chasers:
Throw
the Quaffle to each other and try to through it through one
of the goal posts to earn ten points for there team.
One
Keeper:
Stays
near his teams goals trying to stop the opposing team from
scoring. Like a gollie.
Two
Beaters:
Equipped
with large clubs (like wooden baseball bats). Beaters fiy
after the bludgers trying to knock them toward the opposing
team by hitting them with the clubs.
One
Seeker:
The
Seeker is usually the smallest and most agile player on the
team. They ride around between all the other players looking
for the Snitch. When the Seeker catches the snitch,it will
end the game and earn his team an extra 150 points. Since
Quidditch games don't have time limits, they can go on for
a VERY long time.
Balls:
One
Quaffle;
Is thrown through any one of the 6 goalposts for 10 points.
Two
Bludgers:
Big,
heavy balls that go around trying to knock random players
off their brooms.
One
Golden Snitch:
Very
fast, hard to see, and small. It is the most important ball
in the game. The game only ends when the Snitch is caught.
