What to Include in A Time Capsule

Now that a theme has been decided upon, what event is to be captured, and a capsule is chosen, all that is left to decide is what shall be put into the capsule.

This can be both the easiest and most difficult part of putting together a time capsule.  What one puts in a time capsule defines what it is all about.  One wants to include those things relevant to the occasion.  For example, one  would not put a graduation tassel in a capsule meant to remember a new baby.  Choosing what goes into a capsule is entirely personal and I can only guide you in that decision, as I have said before, it is a personal memory one is trying to capture so therefore only the individual  can truly know what to include.

Here are the basics of what to include:

Photographs of the event(s) and people involved

Handwritten notes and letters that express how and what people were feeling

Announcements, invitations, thank you notes, ect.
