My Favorite Inhabitants at
the National Zoo

All of the inhabitants of the National Zoo are my favorites for one reason or another. But I can only show some of my "special favorites" here because free webspace is limited. Below you will see some of the National Zoo inhabitants which I look forward to seeing again on my next visit.

Big fish

This is a very big fish! I like his grumpy face.

Giant Panda

This giant panda is a favorite for all zoo visitors, including me. He looks like a giant stuffed animal.

Komodo Dragon

This Komodo dragon is still small, and not too fierce looking. But, even when it grows big and fierce, it will still be one of my favorites as long as it is behind glass.

Long-nosed tree shrews

I always like animals that are furry and cute.

Baby giraffe

This baby giraffe is adorable. Here it is practicing lifting its baby legs.

Leopard cat

This leopard cat is definitely my "favorite favorite" animal at the National Zoo! I would love to take this little zoo animal home with me.

Orangutan

Last on this page, but not least, is this orangutan with the wonderful big moon face.
