I had the privilege of meeting Brad Dourif, aka Grima Wormtongue! Um, Brad, could you look at the camera please?

Great picture of Brad, horrible picture of me!(except you get a great shot of my fantastic hobbit ears!)

We got spiffy LotR tokens at Ringcon.

Craig Parker, aka Haldir! *fangirl sigh* what a cutie! and a crackup! and an awefully strange picture of me....

Bruce Hopkins, aka Gamling! What a darling! Ladies' man, attention whore, the whole shebang! I got a kiss from him too! ;) course, the whole table did.....even the men!! WAHAHAHAH!

A group picture with Lawrence Makoare, aka Lurtz/Witchking/Gothmog. Jed Brophy, aka Snaga/Sharku/etc, to come! Lawrence is the one lying across the front; I'm the one who's doing the Heimlich maneuver on herself!

Other Events

I had the honor of working with Sean Astin, aka Sam Gamgee! he helped build a children's reading garden in Beaverton, Oregon. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good picture of us together, so here's a group picture....um, enhanced. April 6th, 2003

Andy Serkis, aka Gollum, came to town to promote his new book he wrote about Gollum. So he gave this great little speech, and then signed autographs. I drew a picture of him while he signed, then gave it to him! January 15th, 2004

John Rhys-Davies, aka Gimli, showed up 2 days after Andy Serkis, and chatted in town hall about his political views, and growing up in South Africa. Amazingly charismatic and fascinating man! He had a habit of tickling all the young ladies when the shutter went off. ;-) January 17th, 2004

At the Return of the King line party, i premiered my new Pippin costume! Gondorian armor! It still needs some nips and tucks, but i think the overall impression worked very well! December 16th, 2003

Alan Lee, to come. Primary conceptual artist for the movies, and for Tolkien in general for many many years. Oddly enough, this was the first time I've turned fangirl and had trouble talking straight!
