Zorayda Ruth Andam, Miss Philippines Universe 2001, appears with all delegates for the official Group Swimsuit Photo at the Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Zorayda is on the second row, fourth from the right between Misses Northern Marianas and Finland. Zorayda spent a week in Caracas, Venezuela under the watchful eyes of 'Beauty Queen Maker' Osmel Souza. She underwent hours of intensive training in stage projection, hair and make-up, ramp modelling, speech lessons and social graces. The very same training that Miss Philippines Universe 1999, Miriam Quiambao went through! Zorayda bears a striking resemblance to Miriam. |
