"Welcome to three hours of lunacy" Plant isn't joking! The group are in party mood tonight. Another truly outstanding show, although there seems to be a slight problem at the beginning - 'Sick Again' is played isolated instead of immediately following ‘The Song Remains the Same.’ ‘Nobody’s Fault But Mine’ has to be one of the best ever (outstanding harmonica and guitar solos) and ‘Over the Hills and Far Away’ is also played again (great guitar here as well). 'No Quarter' is again very interesting and includes an electric piano solo before the standard acoustic piano interlude, which is full of Jones' beautiful classical wanderings - also some nice guitar chords just as the long jam starts. ‘White Summer’ is better than usual and leads into ‘Kashmir,’ which doesn’t go smoothly—Jones gets lost before the middle part and it takes a little while before they find their way again; later the guitar cuts out during ‘Trampled Under Foot.’ But the band is in great spirits and Keith Moon makes an appearance just before the drum solo to add to the mayhem. He shouts that Bonham is the greatest living rock drummer and later makes another silly speech before the encore (he apparently joined Bonham on the drumkit as well). Definitely one of the best shows of the year out of those I've heard.
