The reenactment at Healdsburg takes place just below the Warm Springs Dam, and is situated north of Santa Rosa. The battlefield is a grass covered area with rolling hills. Both camps have ample shade during the morning and afternoon hours, and some shade is available for viewing the battles as well. Living history, drill and skirmishes occur throughout the day, and provide a chance for public interaction and involvement. Sutlers selling period goods also attend this event.
