Today at lunch, a friend of mine comes up to me and says, "I have a riddle I think you might just be able to figure out. Two men are racing in boats. The race starts when the driver sees the sun as it rises. One man climbs up the 10 foot high mast, and sees the sun 5 seconds earlier. What is the circumfrance of the earth?" I walk up to the board in the French room, and begin scribling numbers all over the board. I ask, "How tall are the men?" They are 6 feet tall each.

Two cars, A and B, start driving toward each other. They are 10 km apart when they start, A starting from the north and B from the south, and they both drive with a constant speed of 50 km/h. A swallow starts together with A and flies toward B. When it meets B, it turns around and flies back to A, and so on to and fro between A and B. The swallow flies with a constant speed of 100 km/h, and we assume that it takes zero time at turning each time it meets A or B. Which way is the swallow facing when A meets B?
Answer: Undifined :D It takes no time to turn, so it is already turned one way when A is very very close to B, and when A meets B, it will have, a moment before, be turning at an almost infinite rate. When A meets B, the swallow is spinning at an infinte rate, thus the way it is facing is undefined.
Four people, Mr A, Mrs B, Mr C, and Mrs D have recently lost their memories slightly.
