ZD All-Star
All-Star #3
People...he kept a mustache for about a month. Not a beard/mustache combo, a straight up mustache. He had the full beard, then he sported a Ponce de Leon look for a while, then come springtime he settled on the 'stache. This reason alone would be enough to earn Andy Filachek a spot on the All-Star roster. However, Andy is far more than a man with a mustache. The guy is a machine during cross-country and track season. He wakes up, goes to class, goes to practice, eats his canned vegetables, does his homework, goes to sleep and runs 30 minutes in the 10k. But in the off-season, after enjoying a few drinks he is known to say things like "It is a great day to be a Filachek", "I need something to steal", and "Don't try to talk me into buying this Playgirl magazine just because I am drunk." Unfortunately for all of us staying in Charlottesville this summer, Andy will be at home in New Jersey, spending his days at an engineering internship and picking up hours at his job from last summer whenever possible (janitor at Manalopan Grammar School). He doesn't have a jumpsuit but really wants one, so if you want to donate some money so we can get him one, just let me know and i'll set up a fund. Andy is currently single and looking to settle down with a nice young lady, preferably not Canadian, who enjoys Tom Clancy videogames, watching Phillies games, making and eating pierogies, and making love "doggystyle". If you, or someone you know, fit this description and dig distance runners with chest hair and dual US/Swiss citizenship, just let me know and I will get you in touch with Andy.
Andy and one of his many looks.
