What is FusionEZ?
FusionEZ is for retina image registration/alignment, fusion/display, processing, and ROI (region of interest) analysis/measurement.

Why fusion is needed?
Image registration/fusion is needed when two or more images are taken at different times, from different cameras, or from different viewpoints and when one wants to integrate information from different images.

What are benefits of image fusion?
The benefits of retinal image registration and fusion include:

What are typical applications of FusionEZ?
The progression of galucoma can be assessed from color images of the optic-nerve-head topography and from red-free images of the never fiber layer. Physicians often use more than one image to identify a lesion and its seriousness, or base their diagnosis on various different modal images. Serial photographs of the flow of fluorescein dye can be used to determine areas of ischemia, hemorrhaging, neovascularization, exudate, microaneurysms, and occlusions in diseases such as diabetes. FusionEZ can be used to correct patient motion across different image frames.
