The Art Expansion ring
is for any 'artist' with a web site that presents his or
her work. That work can be in any media.. photography,
oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, color pencil, pastels,
scratch board/ scrape board, and 3dml.
Please read the guidelines/ rules
before you apply to this ring.
Membership Guidelines for the Art
Expansion WebRing ring:
The ring navigation code [RNC] MUST be on
the URL you submit. The RNC should be placed on your site
main page.
The artwork on your site MUST have
been created by you.
You drew it,
you painted it,
you scratched it,
you pressed the shutter,
you wrote it.
Your site can not contain other people's copyrighted work
without their permission.
For you 3dml 'artist' all the above apply as well. More
over for SPOT builders the following also apply:
The URL you submit can NOT be to
a SPOT directly, or a html page with an embedded
SPOT. The URL MUST be to a 'plain' html page (this
is part of the first rule/ guideline of this ring
- remember the URL pointing to the RNC on your
site thing), preferably of course to your main/
home/ content page.
- If your SPOT uses non-flatland blocksets, and for
this ring these are considered flatland block
sets:
- basic.bset
- basic2.bset
- village.bset
- islands.bset
- interior.bset
- spotsprings.bset
- tomb1.bset
- tomb2.bset
- tomb3.bset
- tomb4.bset
then you MUST list those non-flatland
blocksets used by your SPOT and list their file
size and if the builder has included a blockset
version number list the version number you used
in building your SPOT. If your site is not in
compliance with these rules it will NOT be
included in this ring.
These are strong recommendations
for 3dml-ers that have SPOTs on their sites that
use non-flatland blocksets: you should put an
advisement/ warning that the listed non-flatland
blocksets are required by your SPOT and that not
allowing Rover to download them may cause the
SPOT not to load, or to be viewed incorrectly.
The following are recommendations
for 3dml-ers that have SPOTs on their sites:
include two (2) different screen shots of your
SPOT(s). Not being in compliance with the
recommendations will not exclude your site from
this ring
The RingMaster's decision on the suitability of a site
for inclusion and continued inclusion in this ring is
final.
