Jess and I made thes from a piece of aircraft aluminum that happened my way.  They are over an 1/8" thick and added a feel of strength to the doors.  They were very easy to make.  We just used the old door as a templet and went to town with the saw and drill.  I plan to put a swirl finish on it but I have not figured out how to do it myself yet.
MODS / TECH
Aluminum door panels
This is my front bumper.  It is made from 6 X 2 X 1/2" channel.  Very tough!  It has taken out everything that it has hit.  So far the only damage has been a scuff in the spay can paint job.  I had the holes for the light cut out on a burn table.  Also if you noticed the front body mount is disconnected.  Not to worry I had it apart at the time of the photo.
These are my seats.  They are out of a Honda Civic and work great.  For you taller guys out there, it lower me about 2-3".  They also set me back a few inches, so there is lots more leg room.  This Mod required that I cut out the old mounting brackets on the drivers side.  I also had to drill new holes.  I used large washers to help reinforce the steel at the mounting points.
"HOT WHEELS", need I say more!

I am having the Tonka Stickers made to replace the Samurai and Suzuki logo's.
