A swift moving wolf runs across the open field picking up the morning dew and leaving but a faint trail of mist in his wake. From The distance most people would guess that the wolf was tracking his next prey, but a hunter could tell that this wolf was not on the trail of any prey. He was heading somewhere in a hurry. Finally the wolf comes over the last hill and sees it. As the wolf looks over Qeynos Hills memories begin to flood his mind, memories of his childhood in this little valley, and he whispers under his breathe, more to himself then to anyone else, I am home…
Since his childhood Bicky knew what role he was to take in this dangerous world of Norrath. Even when he was young he didn’t act like the other Half Elf’s living in that small village called Surefall Glades. Unlike the other kids who were busy practicing to become a ranger, a warrior, or a rogue, little Bicky would go out and play with his animal friends. He only had a few friends and whenever he got together with them it always led to trouble. Kids always seemed to make fun of Bicky and say that he was a wimp, so one rainy morning he decided to prove them wrong by going to Black Burrow and bringing back an item from the king of the gnolls. Bicky set off not really knowing what he was about to get himself into, but going head first into the adventure. When he arrived to Black Burrow entrance he began to realize that this might be a bad idea, but wanting to prove himself to those other kids he went on in. Slowly he made his way down into areas nobody had ever seen in Qeynos. There Bicky witnessed what no child should have the responsibility of hearing. The king gnoll was listening to his Commanding officers tell how the preparations in the aqueducts was going and when they would be ready to attack Qeynos from the inside. Bicky knew this was very bad and he had to get back to Qeynos to worn the city, but little did he know at that very moment he was being watched by a deadly gnoll. The gnoll pounced right onto Bicky and snatched him up. He was carried down to stand before the king. he thought this to be the end of his very existents after looking into the maul of the great kings mouth. The king began to talk in an unknown tongue to the other gnolls gathered around staring with bloodthirsty eyes at Bicky. he thought for sure the king was planning a dinner in which he would be the main course. Bicky was taken to a cell where he was locked while waiting for the evening meal. After the large group of gnolls left and one single guard remand a dark figure emerged from the shadows and in one swift and silent move fell over the gnoll guard slitting his throat before the gnoll could ever make a sound of protest. Bicky imminently stood up not knowing what this figure was about to do. The unknown person began to pick the lock of the jail cell. Bicky seeing him doing this said, “what are you doing here and who in Karanas name are you!” “Greetings I am Drexxell, and luckly for you I am here to rescue you” the figure said. “Please try to remain quiet until I get you out of here, for I am afraid that we are deep within and it will take some work to get a loud one as yourself out of here.” The next sound heard were a click and the creaking of the door swinging open. Drexxel walking up to Bicky then said, “sorry about this, but it is the only safe way and it will not hurt that bad.” With that Bicky’s world went black and he feel over unconscious.
Warmth is all he felt warmth of a fire and the sweat smell of a ladies perfume. Slowly, Bicky opened his eyes to see that he was in a house, from the looks of it a house in Qeynos. A Buetiful lady then walked in and said in a soft and loving voice, “ah, you are awake I see.” Bicky, having a confused look on his face, said, “yes ma’am where in the nine hells am I though. Then it hit him, “I must tell Qeynos of the” the lady cute him short by saying, “it is already taken care of Drexxel has warned the city and you are safe here now take and eat this and relax. She set down a plat of fresh made bread and fresh cooked stew. Soon his deed was known around all the Qeynos area. That is why Bicky was approached by the druid guild leader and asked if he would like to join the guild. Bicky, with a wide smile on his face, accepted and was on his way to becoming a true druid.
The wolf is brought out of his thoughts by a sound of thunder in the distance. Bicky, the wolf, then says, “ah yes it is good to be home,” and with that he takes of into a run and begins the last few miles to Qeynos.
