 Australia
I used to go to AUS when I was in grade 7 with my mum and my dad. Our tour guide is really nice, she gave me a cute braclet when we left. I had an obsession to go abroad to study. I was young and there were many of my friends who went abroad. It sounded so exciting. I was thrilled when I finally got my wish granted. I flew to Perth, Western Australia for my grade 9. I lived in a shared-house with 3 other roommates. I was 13 and they were 18+... They treated me like a little baby.. my cousins were there too. But in my mind, I was as old as them. I did myown groceries the first time... Also I washed the laundry, cook for myself, washed the clothes... the first time... all by myself. It was overwhelming. When I graduated to Grade 10, my parents put me into a boarding school called St. Hilda's. This school is really beautiful and huge! The daughter of King Brunei was studying there, too! But it felt like a jail after a while. You can't go out except on weekends and only from certain amount of time. I had great meals everyday and I met good people. I remember we always had dance-night once a month with the boys' schools and other girls' school. City... Red Rooster... Myer... Pot Black... GPA... all those places... I will never forget...
