I came to Canada with great expectations. I wished it would be better than Perth. But, nope. The view, the buildings, seemed pretty old compared to Australia. I got to live with my deranged thrifty aunt's family. If in Australia I felt kinda jailed because I could not go out from the boarding house... In Canada I felt jailed because of my aunt. I met new friends. Most of my friends are Korean-Canadians. I was pretty much unhappy when I was in Canada. Really. So, after high school graduation, I didn't want to continue university there. I went back home.
