duties
liasing with clients regarding the project; liaising with the architects, consultants and draughtsmen; producing all required drawings; supervising the construction until the final project was handed over; setting up and running the computer department in the firm; training of other draughtsmen.

overview
this was my innitial fulltime employment at this architectural firm, which trained me, from a basic draughtsman to being an independent architectural technologist. when i left, my duties involved, working with the client at the first meeting and discussing all requirements from the basic design, cost estimates and final finishes and then liaising with the architects, consultants and draughtsmen and producing sketch plans, details and working drawings and supervising the construction until the final project was handed over.

all my training was done in house with architectural & planning studio, and on several occasions with different firms of consultants, which was a prerequisite of the technicians and institutes training and examination requirements. this all included working on drawing boards from small scale projects to setting up and running the computer department of the firm which used it for large scale projects. i was also involved in the training of other draughtsmen under me whilst maintaining my other duties to the firm.
