liasing with team regarding the project; liaising with the architects and consultants; producing required drawings.

overview
i am currently working for this international firm of architects based in cape town. projects cover all aspects of large scale work both locally but mainly internationally. the experience i am gaining here is invaluable in such that it covers drawing styles from europe and the far east. projects currently on board are townhouse complexes in scotland, blocks of highrise flats in england, a 5-star hotel in dubai, an international conference centre in cape town and a shopping centre at cape town's v&a waterfront. each country has its own design styles and requirements for plans details and i am part of a team of draughtsmen under the supervision of an architect who has been trained for the countries relevant standards.

i am currently involved in producing sketch plans, working drawings, details and schedules and 3d presentations for several different projects all at different stages. i am also being trained to produce more detailed drawings for future projects based in europe.
