*None of the Gundam Wing characters are mine, but 'Talyn' and the other bad guys are. The Gundam boys etc.. belong to their owners, I am just borrowing them for a while, so don't blaime me if they are really out of character. Also I have never seen a single episode of Gundam Wing (but i do have a Gundam Deathscyth modle at home), so a whole lot of this will most likely be inaccurate to the Gundam Wing universe. But this is MY story, so I can do what I like with it!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

The door opened with a spark. Through it ran four figures. Four teenage boys cautiously pressing against the walls as they went. They ran down a long hall way with polished floors and a few solid metal doors. Their leader- the one with spiky black hair- signaled for them to turn down a new way and have their weapons ready. The other three pulled out various pistols, then they all continued with their search.

Two men watched from behind a desk, looking at screens that showed people strapped to chairs wearing strange helmets that covered their faces with weird sticking out at every angle. The intruders did not go unnoticed. The man with the pointed ring smiled and leaned back into his chair.

"Well, well, well…" He said. "What have we here? Another troop of mercenaries? Colonist secret services? Again? Isn’t that interesting."

"Shall I set off the defense systems?" The weasily one asked.

"No." The man with the pointed ring gave a dismissive gesture with his hand. "They are only to be used on escapees. They," talking about the intruders. "are far enough away from us to not be a problem. Ignore them, unless they manage to find their way into the central zone, and continue programing."

"But Sir-" The weasily one protested. The man with the pointed ring shot him a deadly look. "Yes Sir." He continued with his work.

In another control room, the man with a scar across his cheek was busily hacking into the system. He knew he would die for what he was doing, but he was the only chance the kid had. With out him the kid had no hope of escape. /Almost done… just a few more seconds…/

The sound of a gun being cocked from behind him stopped him dead in his tracks. Slowly he turned his head to face the one who had discovered him, standing and raising his hands above his head at the same time. As he saw the figure at the door he felt panic set in. Of all the units to find him! "Rapior." He breathed.

The unit grinned wickedly. The man with the scar knew it was useless to try reasoning with it. The unit wouldn’t listen to him anyway. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw the release button on the console. /I’m sorry./ He thought to the boy. /I should have done this sooner. Forgive me!/ He slammed his hand down pressing the button in the exact moment the Rapior squeezed the trigger, splashing crimson over the walls.

Talyn’s eyes snapped open. He was free from the constraints of the chair. The cell door was open. There was nothing stopping him from escaping. It could just be another one of their sick jokes… then again, they never left the door open before. Bringing up a mental map of the facilities he quickly calculated the easiest escape rout. Seizing his chance before it slipped away, he bolted from the cell and out into the shiny metallic hallway, bare feet slapping against the cold floor as he ran.

The brunette teen with a long braid signaled to the other brunette, who wore his hair in strange spikes that slid forward over his face, that the corridor was clear. The four of them ran quietly and quickly along spaced a distance apart. Here they started to find metal doors next to each other with similar things painted on each. They looked very much like isolation cells. Stopping out side one the blond boy peered through the tiny high up slit.

"There’s some one in there!" He hissed. "he’s strapped to a chair with some kind of helmet covering his face, and with wires and tubes sticking into him!"

"There’s another one in here." The spiky-hared brunette said.

"And in here!" The one with the braid called from down the hall. "It looks like each one of these rooms holds a person." He looked back towards their black hared leader. "What do we do about it?"

"Nothing." Their leader said firmly. "Our orders do not concern these people. We continue onwards."

They followed their orders, continuing making their way through a maze of corridors until they came face to face with a closed heavy, very thick fire door blocking their way. On either side of the hallway appeared to be open storage. Large wooden crates were piled up on top of each other.

"Crap." The brunette with the braid puffed looking at the door.

"No problem. " The leader announced and began to decode the computer lock. "Keep an eye out."

The alarms must have gone off. He knew that they must have. That meant he only had a limited time to escape before everything would kick in. Bare feet slapped loudly as he ran, his pulse and breath puffing away were loud in his ears. He darted down one corridor then another and another and another. His lungs burned as he pushed himself onwards. Just a head the thick fire door in the corridor was starting to slide down from the roof. With an extra burst of speed he tumbled through, rolling to his feet to run again as the next fire door began to slide down. Five doors later and he could feel himself tiring. /NOOOOoooo…/ He cried silently as the door ahead of him slid closed inches from him. Panting he set about trying to decode the computer lock. Red ‘locked’ sign greeted him no matter what he did. He pounded on the door in frustration knowing that there was nothing he could do.

A noise from behind him made him spin, pressing his back against the metal door. He could hear the loud wiring-clanking noise of the fire doors sliding back into place back in the way he had come form. Terror spiked through him making his eyes widen. They were coming!! Desperation had him clawing at the door, pounding and scratching at it. He was on his knees now, searching for a crack down there that he could use to lever it open. The thought of HOW exactly he would do that never quite crossed his mind.

::Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiir-CLANK!::

That was door number three. Just two more and they would be through.

He pressed against the door, slumped, defeated. There really was no escaping them.

::Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiir- CLANK!::

Just one more.

::WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIR…::

/Huh?/ The door behind him was moving? Slowly it was rising up. But there was enough room! Rolling under he scrambled through the tiny gap and was up and away- Until a pair of arms caught him and sent him and his captor sprawling. Blind with panic he struggled wildly, clawing and hitting and kicking. His captor did nothing but try to get a better grip on him. Talyn smiled slightly as he grasped something hard and cold. The captor went still when he whipped it out of the holster and pressed the tip against the captor’s forehead.

::CLANK!::

"Let me go." He ordered, his voice surprisingly calm. The grip on his arms was released, and he scrambled back and to his feet. Still pointing the pistol at the one who grabbed him, he panted heavily. His captor had brown hair hanging over one of his eyes. He looked around.There were four of them, he noticed. All in black. But they were not ones of THEM. His eyes narrowed. Three of them, any way. That one there though… the one by the fire door. They were all looking at him, but the one by the door was the only one he was worried about. He had cold piercing eyes. And he was the only one with hair dark enough to be black.

::Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiir-CLANK!:: That noise brought him back to the present.

/Ha!/ He thought triumphantly. /Now I have a weapon! Now I can take at least one of you down before you can touch me!/ he pointed the pistol at the fire door that was opening wide.

The four dived behind crates as the door opened fully and a person walked calmly through. If this one knew of their existence he completely ignored them, and stalked purposely towards the boy who aimed the pistol directly between the man’s eyes.

"Talyn." The man said pleasantly.

"Black Ghost!" The boy gasped, fear causing him to tremble all over.

"Pause. What are you planning to do with that pistol?" The man called Black Ghost asked from the boy called Talyn’s side. Talyn’s arm started to shake badly, his eyes not looking at the man. He did not answer. He just looked strait ahead, arm extended, face an expression of terror. The man moved to stand behind the boy and slid his hand down the boy’s arm to grab his wrist. He brought the boy’s hand holding the pistol up towards with head. Talyn just stood like a statue or a marionette, allowing the man to move him. "This pistol is not standard issue! Where did you get it?!" Black Ghost hissed. The boy continued to stand, breathing heavily. His eyes flickered to the direction of the closest intruder- the one with the braid- but he said nothing. The man did not see this slight movement from his position behind the boy. He pried Talyn’s fingers open and removed the pistol, leaving his arm up in the position it was in, then he whispered something in the boy’s ear that the intruder with the braid was able to hear. "Your master Edison is dead."

The intruders all saw the boy’s eyes open in panic, then narrow.

"You may lower your arms now." He continued, and the boy did as he was told. "Good, good. It’s nice to know you will follow SOME of my orders. Tell me… where did you get this weapon."

"Here." The boy replied.

"Here?" Black Ghost echoed. "Where here?"

"Just… here."

"Hmmm…" He paused in thought. "Edison no doubt thought to supply it to you. A lot of good this would be. You are aware that this escape attempt will not be treated quite as lightly as your previous ones…" Talyn set a stern expression on his face, as the man leaned in close wearing a leer. "Especially with out your former master to protect you."

"He… was NOT my master!" Talyn ground out.

The man snorted in a revolting way. "Oh yes… we all know exactly WHAT he was to you." He looked up at the roof, as if talking to someone else. "I have him, Master." Then he nodded to himself, and a door in the wall nearest them slid open. "Come, Talyn." Black Ghost then began to walk towards the door. Talyn hesitated, but the man turned and looked at him and he followed.

The door slid shut and the intruders were all alone.

"What do you make of that, Duo?" The blond asked the braided one.

"Sounds kind of like S and M talk to me." Came the reply.

"WHAAAAT?!" The blond almost shrieked.

"Duo. Shut up!" Their leader snapped. "You too, Quatre. What ever that was about is of not consequence to us. We have a mission to accomplish, or have you forgotten?"

"Yes Mommy." Duo’s voice floated down from his hiding spot.

"Sorry Hero." Quatre replied at the same time.

Hero nodded his head, then caught eyes with the last one of their group. "Trowa, you and Quatre go back to the Gundams while Duo and I find what we are after."

Trowa gave a curt nod, and took off with Quatre trailing after him. Hero and Duo watched them running along the twisting hallways for a few moments. Then Duo turned to Hero.

"Looks like it’s just you and me, oh mighty perfect soldier."

"Shut up and follow me." Hero turned and headed down the hall way through the large metal fire doors.

****

"We are in." Hero announced, typing furiously at the OZ console.

"About bloody time." Duo murmered over his shoulder. "I was starting to get bored."

Hero gave Duo a dirty look, then continued to hack. Several minutes passed with Duo fidgeting in the back ground. "Got it." Hero ejected and pocketed a disc.

"Goodie…" Duo checked the hall way. "Still all clear. Is it just me, or does this feel too easy."

"It’s too easy."

"Murphey’s law states that we should be attacked any second now."

They waited.

Nothing happened. No alarms. No running foot steps. No hidden lasers in the walls jumping out trying to cut them in two.

"Aw, man… I REALLY don’t like it when things are this quite!" Duo tugged on his long hair. "You sure you got the right one?"

"Yes." Hero replied stiffly. "Now let’s hurry and get out of here."
