family?
I have a cat named Pixel (Pixel-poo, she lets you know when she is unhappy. She smells.), two older brothers who live elsewhere,
and two parents. I have a beautiful little girl who is the most wonderful thing to have happened to me. (Even if the circumstances of her conception were not.)
Education?
Surprisingly, yes I have one. And I am continuing it.
I am interested in linguistics, and I want to learn several languages. Such as: French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Polish, Hebrew, Greek, Spanish, Gailic... as well as Arabic, Swaheeli (spelling?) and a few other languages that are common in Africa. We have refugees in our community that I would love to talk to in one of their own languages. I think languages are beautiful, and people should not be bullied/hated because they decide to talk to their own people in their common language.
between time stuff?
I was part of a theatre company called S.K.I.T., but the guy who was one of the main minds behind it (a brilliant actor, incredibly well respected and looked up to, an inspiration to all us actor-wannabee's...), well, died. Sadly no one was able to replace him, and SKIT died along with him. THere are other theatre companies around where I'm living, but life is too full on for me right now to do anything like that. Maybe when my daughter is in a school production I might be able to help out, but that's it right now.
I also like drawing, writing novels, and designing costumes. One day I will convert at least one of my stories into
a t.v. series/movie/stage play. But that could take a while. First i have to finish one. I'm currently working on the sequal to Conversations and Catching Up. Not sure what it will be called exactly, but it's about the time Sai and Sekhemet are in Africa and the healings that follow them. Difficult part is that I have not yet been to Africa myself. Heh. :)
I also want to make up t-shirts with actual positve slogans on them (For a long time I wanted negative-type ones... actually, I'd still like to do "I't my job to be nice, don't take it so damned personal" and "A polite smile in passing is not an open invitation for sexual harrassment". That one was from my stalker. All I did was smile at him one day (according to him. I don't remember that), and he decided that I was wanting him to come banging on my door at horrible hours of the night demanding I let him in for sex. GRRRRR!!!!!! HISSS!!!! BOOOOO!!!!!)
Any favorite types of movie/t.v. viewing?
I love action movies, not so called "girly-girly" movies. (Although 'Legally Blond' really made an impact on me. I am now "into" Pink things.) Transformers was FANTASTIC!!!! Harry Potter was cool too (except the last movie left out too many important plot points that they will have to do speical extended sceens for, or the last movie will make no sence). Lord of the Rings was yum! Elija Wood was my fav actor growing up, and Frodo my fav character. Lovely! :)
I enjoy cartoons that have decent animation, and good scripting. Nothing is worse
than a well animated cartoon with a crummy script. That just recks it for me. I also enjoy Manga/anime, such as: Slayers!!!!!!!! (Zelgardis is SOOOO COOL!!!!), Outlaw Star, GUNDAM WING!!!! Tenchi Muyo, Ranma 1/2, Full Metal Panic (&Fumafu), Tsubasa Chronicles, 12 Kingdoms, Princess Tu Tu, Kyo Kara Mao (spelling)... And fanfiction related to them as well as Ronin Wariors/Samuri Tropers (Which i have NEVER seen, but
love any way.) Sai/Cye is my fav character out of that. For the moment. :)
I also like Bucky O'Hare, X-men (original cartoon, not the newer crap), Spiderman, Batman, Adventures of Sam (an Australian 'toon), Mummys Alive!, Daria (Woo-hoo!), Angry Beavers, RE-BOOT!!!!!!!!!!, Stick'n Around... there's a whole lot more that I can't remember at the moment.
I HATE Tellytubbies, Power Rangers (except the one in Space, which some how I find semi decent), the constant re-showing of Pokemon, Digimon, and Dragon Ballz. Must not forget Cow and Chicken...
Reading Material...
J.R.R. Tolkien is probably my favorite author... The Lord of the Rings, is the one I love *sigh's fondly*... I like action, adventure, and
pain. If a character is in pain it shows realism in as much as in a real... um... 'punch up fight' someone always gets hurt...
even a little bit.
I also read fan fiction. Mainly Slayers, Gundam Wing and Ronin Warriors/Samuri Tropers, Tsubasa Chronicles, Harry Potter.

Having had very bad luck and also concieving through unsavory circumstances, my view on men has been altered *just slightly*. Don't get me wrong. I love men. I know that there are wonderful ones out there. I just happen to attract all the creeps instead of the truely nice ones. AND I was too "nice a person" to scream at the top of my lungs: "what the f*** are you doing?! F*** OFF!" at the time. What I can't stand is guy who does not take no for an answer. And I should not HAVE to scream my no for it to be heard by him. (Especailly if it can be heard by a heap of other people at the time.) This is one reason why I want to make up some of my tshirts. What I think needs to be done in schools is relationship education not just sex ed. Things like for the girls: assertiveness training so they know how to say no to the people who are supposed to love them and not be pressured into doing things by their boyfriends. And that if something does happen, where to go for help raising the child, not all this abortion pressure. Acceptance of the single mothers will help society so much. Getting pregnant is not something anyone does when they are not in the habit of sleeping around ("It's the good girls who get pregnant. The Bad ones know how to avoid it"). Girls need to know that being a single parent is NOT the end of the world, and that they can still be happy, successful, fulfilled people when they have a child.
Boys: I don't care how horny you get when you look at her, DON'T con her into doing anything that is inappropriate to do with your mother/father/sister/brother. That goes to the girls too. This could be someone else's potential partner you are messing with, and damaging for life. Just DON'T DO IT! I think there should be a lot more respect teaching for the boys. If you're not married to her, just don't go there!
Just remember all you ladies out there: Men are created to replicate their DNA. That is where their instincts lie. They may never really understand us, but when God created Woman, Man was asleep (so what can you really expect?).
