V/A - Mailorder is Fun! Asian Man Records Well, I bought this CD with very little hope. I had 5 bucks and this popped in front of me. I thought it would just be another crappy DIY punk/ska mix. And mainly it was. The only thing that I noticed over the rest of the comps was that it was a lot more happy, ill have to say it got some points for that. But with great bands like Johnny Socko and Slow Gherkin singing songs like the, polish dance song, “The Boraborinski Brothers”, and a cover of “Hava Nagilah”, I was left hella disappointed. I suggest you pick up this CD only if you have not been cordially introduced to Asian Man Records (or Fueled By Ramen Records who had 9 songs on the comp) and are interested in what they are bringing to the table. Otherwise just go and buy one of these bands CD’s.
