Twisted and Tormented
Losing Face Records

Underground metal huh? This is really one of the last musical frontiers I’m not, as of yet
very comfortable with. But now that Wrath sent me their whole catalog, I finally have a
connection to the scene. The guitars are prominent on this record as they should be,
because the vocals are painfully rough at times.  I mean that’s fine with me but it all
seemed a little unrecognizable and ran together way too much at times. I couldn’t tell you
where to get this, cause Wrath has since broken up. I just asked them and they sent me
everything, but I lost their address sorry. It doesn’t matter though because as for this
release I suggest you avoid it, I got my copy for free and I still had a hard time
appreciating it.

Essence of Insecurity
and
Anger in a Pretty Package

The band sent me a tape with both these recordings on it so I don't know which I'm
listening to when, so I’ll just review them at the same time. I’m not sure but I’m guessing
that these where released after “Twisted and Tormented”, because these recordings are
sooooo much more full and dynamic. Opposed to “T. and T.” this is really fun to listen
too. The fact that the music is so much more complex and that the singer actually varies
the pitch, and volume of his voice on these recordings (he even sings at one point), makes
this a real high quality tape. But the fact that they have the best version of Quiet Riots
“Cum On Feel The Noise” that’s ever been recorded, and clips from Ren and Stimpy,
makes this tape just enjoyable. I don’t know if you can ever find these recordings, if not
just send me a tape and ask for these, because I really want more people to hear, and
appreciate, this band.
