Set B

Some pictures have not been uploaded or not scanned yet. There are 26 pictures in this set, possibly more if I come across any more scattered photos from this time.

  • Most of these pictures are from the proverbial Henneth Annûn (the window on the west) as I have a habit taking pictures out of this loft window, espcially sunsets.
  • There is also one or two taken from the eastern window, I'm thinking of the rainbow pic (B#11)
  • One of the pictures is of Matthew Haig, (B#4) son of Colin & Sue, who are my parents' friends.
  • One of the pictures is me when I was about 16, and thought it might be useful to have a pic of me (B#9) on the PC (goodness knows why) So consider this an historial picture of me in days gone by.
  • One of the pictures is me aged 17, shortly after I had an accident in the kitchen and got this terrible bruise and had stitchings at Mayday Hospital at 2am on a wednesday night. Thank God for the NHS, and bless all those who work in triage. I call this picture Luck because I was fortunate not to lose an eye. Or maybe it's ironic because it looks awful plus I got some bad news two days later.
  • Set C

  • The first 3 are more of the western window pics.
  • The 2nd row were taken without my knowledge. The first is my sister, Kerry, aged 17; to the right of her is her boyfriend Mark, aged 17 also.
  • The first on the 3rd row is an eastern window pic, of the garden in snow.
  • The next one is a rather unique picture. It shows a 312 bus on the road from Croydon, a road which was never visible from here until the pub was demolished.
