Adding a Guestbook

Most people like to put the links for signing and viewing the guestbook on thier main page (index.html). Add the following code in the location of your file you wish your links to appear:

1) Log in to the File Manager

2) Select the file you wish to add the guestbook to, and open that file in the Advanced editor

3) Add the above code to the file

4) SAVE the file.


All that is left to do now is actually set up the layout and initialize your Guestbook. To do that, you must go to the Guestbook Manager. After setting up your Guestbook, it will be ready to sign.

Editing Your Guestbook

After you set up your guest book, two files were added to your File Manager. They are addbook.html, which is the set-up file for your guestbook, and geobook.html, which contains all the entries in your guestbook. Should you feel the need to edit the entries in your guestbook, geobook.html is the file you will need to open using the Advanced editor in the File Manager. Simply open the file, delete or amend the entry in question, and SAVE the file. Here are the step by step directions:

1) Open the File Manager and select geobook.html by clicking on the box to the left of the filename

2) Select the Advanced editor from the list of editors

3) Click on the Edit button

4) Edit the entries

5) SAVE the file
