God's Plan

God loves each one of us

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

But our wrong doing [the Bible calls it sin] has caused a separation between us and God

"...all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

This separation leads to our death and to certain judgment.

"...it is appointed for mortals to die once, and after that the judgement" (Hebrews 9:27)

But God has a plan for us

"God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him." (I John 4:9)

"But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us." (John 16:8-9)

God desires to give us the gift of eternal life

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life." (Romans 6:23)

To receive God's gift, we need to stop [or repent of] our wrong doing

Repent, therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out. (Acts 3:19)

And to trust in Christ as our Savior and Lord

"For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:9-10, 13)

          How do you do that?

Jesus said, "Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me." (Revelation 3:20)

If you pray sincerely asking Him this:

Lord Jesus, please come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life."

He will do it! Jesus said, "If in my name you ask me for anything, I will do it." (John 14:14)

          Now what?

Grow in Christ by following through with baptism and uniting with a church. You will find new Christian friends who will support and help you in your new life in Christ.
