Maintaining of Locks/Tresses is the Tradition
of
The Holy Prophet

I)  When in the Flower garden of (Sacred) Madina, the Hyacinth bulbous plant with bell shaped purple blue fragrant flowers in bunches on plaited knots of its branches (which look like the falls of long hair) provide an adorned/embellished look......
II)  The Hourie (Blue eyed exquisitely beautiful Nymph of Paradise) comes forward to sacrifice herself as votive offering to the conceited / wrinkled expression (coquetry) of the Hyacinth flower / plaint. (That is to say that when only the Hyacinth Fragrant flower plant with its purple blue fragrant flowers in bunches on the braided knots of its embellished / adorned branches is so alluring that even a Hourie (blue eyed exquisitely beautiful Nymph of Paradise) comes forward to sacrifice herself as votive offering to the conceited beauty of the Hyacinth flower on the long hair-like branches of the Hyacinth flower plant in the Sacred Hyacinth flower garden of Madina,  how sublime would be the celestially elegant beauty of the Prophet  Himself during the annunciated period of His   prophet-hood in sacred Madina.)

(HADAIQ-E-BAKHSHISH)

Dear Islamic Brethren! Madly in love with the Traditions of the Prophet  The benign/gracious Tradition of our dear Master / Lord  being that he  always maintained the sacred Locks/Tresses (Hair) of His auspicious head in complete (Lawful) form. Sometime up to half the falling length of the auspicious ears and sometime up to the lobe of the auspicious ear and some time the sacred Locks / Tresses grew so long (in length) that the same used to touch the surface of the auspicious shoulders.

I)  When the locks / Tresses of the Prophet  were up to the ears in length they used to listen / attend to the crying out for assistance in redressing the grievances of the aggrieved/afflicted followers/adherents. Now the (Locks / Tresses) have grown in
length to the surface of (the auspicious) shoulders of the Prophet
II)  So that the same (Locks / Tresses of the Prophet  may take upon them-selves the (arduous) responsibility of seeking redress of grievances of the Nomads / helpless, (who have no support/help other than that of the Prophet  to fall back upon) from the court of Allah

(HADAIQ-E-BAKHSHISH)

To maintain locks/tresses up to half the falling length of the ear
is the tradition of the Prophet  :-

I)  See! As stated in the (Holy) Quran "Shab-e-Qadr" (The night of the Holy Month of Ramadan during which the Revelation of Holy Quran began (usually regarded as the 27th night of the Auspicious month of Ramadan) lasts up to the rising of the Sun in the Eastern horizon at which, the timings for "Fajr" prayer is over.
II)  Accordingly your locks / tresses are near/have easy access to your, cheeks "O' Prophet (i.e. your divinely blessed compassion/interceding powers for absolution would be benevolently exercised up to the day of "Resurrection" and (even) beyond and this would hold good for as many Universes as created by Allah

Dear Islamic Brethren! Since hair (of head) is a thing meant to be growing in length, which ever companion of the Prophet  saw the Locks / Tresses of the Prophet  up to a certain length he narrated that length accordingly. For, Instance :

To maintain locks/tresses up to the full ear length too is the
tradition of the Prophet  :-

I)  As if the Nature has provided a cover / sheath as fragrant as "Musk" to your life/soul (O' Prophet  )...... (INDICATED BY)
II)  (Frequent), Flying of your's  Locks/Tresses over your eyebrows and (its) covering  of the latter.

Increasing the length of the locks/tresses up to the surface of shoulders too
being the tradition of the Prophet -

I) For the Divinely bestowed authorization of intercession, for His  people (i.e. followers/adherents) The Locks/Tresses of the Prophet  tend to bow down (in prostration).
II) As if the Locks/Tresses (of the Prophet ) by their having fallen prone (on the ground) in prostration are making gesticulations of thankfulness / gratitude to the Almighty Allah  for the Divinely conferred/bestowed profusely vast powers of intercession for all the species/creations of all the universes.

The auspicious hair/locks of the Master Lord
were some-what wavy

I)  It so appears as if your, shoulder(s) (O' Prophet ) are the fingers of the hand of Divine power joined together, for your's hair/Locks.
II)  Because your hair / Locks, O', King of the Universes and its creations
(touching upon your shoulders) have such a sublimely adorned elegance / beauty that the same could not he said to be the work of any Hands other than the hands of the real Creator (i.e. the Allah  Himself.

Elegantly sweet four tresses

I)  Let there be a glad tiding spreaded out / circulated that from the over-cast skies of Holy Ka'aba the thick gathering of dark louring clouds have gushed-out to pour down rains of Divine blessings / favours over the aggrieved / afflicted humanity at large.
II) As the (sacred) Locks/Tresses of the Prophet bent swinging suddenly over the eye-brows of the Prophet

Muslim (believers) and the English hair cut

Dear Islamic Brethren! From the above mentioned auspicious sayings of the Prophet it became very well known to us that our beloved Master / Lord always maintained the hair in complete (lawful) form over His  most holy / sacred head; Never maintained hair in short length form (i.e. English cut) like the present Modern Muslims. Of Course this much is proved / established that He when performed off-seasonal Pilgrimage to Makkah and got the auspiciousness of seasonal pilgrimage to Makkah at that time while taking off the pilgrim robes (The two unstitched white sheets of cloth worn by the Pilgrim when making a vow of Pilgrimage) He, for coming out of the vow of Pilgrimage, had the hair of His head got completely shaved off.

(Parting of the hair of the head for) Drawing a line in the central position
of the head is the tradition of the Prophet

"O' those who profess devoutly profound love for the Apostle ! maintain hair as per "Madni" style instead of "English" style (fashion). That is to say that for the sake of love for the beloved Madni Lord  adorn / embellish your head by Locks/Tresses; And also remember that Our beloved Master / Lord  used to draw a line of the hair of the auspicious head (by separating the hair) in the central position of the head. As stated in "Bahar-e-Shariat" (a comprehensive book in two big volumes dwelling at length on the Islamic creed / faith of "Sunnis" and the day to day "issues" likely to be asked by the believers / faithfuls and the answers as per Divine / Islamic Law as contained in the Holy Quran and the Traditional "Sayings" of the Prophet

Some people make / draw a line in the head (by separating the hair of the head) towards the right or the left side of (their) head; This is against the Tradition of the Prophet . The tradition of the Prophet  being that if there is hair on the head a (vertical) line of the hair of the head be drawn (by separating the hair) in the very central position of the head. Some people don't draw a line of the hair of the head. Rather ! keep the hair in upright / erect position. This too is an abrogated (annulled) Tradition of the Prophet  and as mentioned in the traditional sayings of the (Holy) Prophet  is the method / rite of The Jews and The Christians.

"O' our dear Allah  liberating we all Muslims from English thought trend/considerations that induce (us) to maintain / keep English style hair cut, have Madni thought trend/considerations accorded to us in maintaining Locks / Tresses (over our heads) as per the most dear and the most sweet traditions of the Prophet  of whom you (i.e. Allah ) had said that had you not decided to bring Him into being, you would not have created (at all) all the Universes (with its creations).

I)  O' cherisher / sustainer Allah  we' sinful / evil  doers pray that in the most grievous heat (of the sun) on "The Day of Resurrection"...
II) The sweet / charming Locks/Tresses of your beloved be over-shadowing us (i.e. be providing us protection / refuge (from that heat).
III) We swear by Almighty Allah  that the mildly pleasant fragrance that the buds of flower emit in profuse form.
IV) Is in reality the perfumed odour of your Locks / Tresses (O' Prophet ) infused / imbibed by nature / divine power (i.e. Allah ) in the buds of flower by really the most sublime (heavenly) technique.
V) O' Raza ! the Trickling drops of oil dipping from the Locks / Tresses of the Prophet  are not, (as apparent,) just the drops of oil.
VI) Rather ! these are the stars that your celestial Locks / hair (O' prophet ) scatter lavishly as propitiatory offering over the illustrious cheeks (of the Prophet )

(Hadaiq-e-Bakhshish)

(In this Hexagon Encomium in honour of the Prophet  His highness As-Shah Ahmad Raza Khan  has compared the trickling drops of oil dipping from the sacred Locks/Tresses of the Prophet  to the (morning stars) that tend to disappear at early "Dawn" (in the light of the sun yet to rise); And says that when the Locks/Tresses of the Prophet swinging around touch the sublime cheeks of the Prophet  these Locks/Tresses similed (identified) to be the parting darkness of night / early "Dawn" offer the parting/disappearing stars, as propitiatory offering to the illustrious cheeks of the Prophet
