After loss of
cellphone contact in Moz, arrived in Mutare, eastern gateway of Zimbabwe.

Back to 18 June: After SUMPTOUS breakfast at the Polana,
via the streets of Maputo (pics 1 - 3), headed north to Xai - Xai. Past
forlorn ruins left over from the war and the decay (pic 4).Lovely stretch
of coast, NICE resort - camping and bungalows under the trees. Swims all
round (pic 5), then mosquitoes all round - saved by Tabard! Drinks (pic 6)
and dinner - local fish and peri-peri chicken.
