Kathleen, or Kati as she is often called, grew up in the outskirts of
the city of Kilkenny, the largest city in Kilkenny county where her
family has been since its founding... well, there and in Leix
(pronounced Leash), since together they both made up what was once known
as Upper Ossory. She loved the green of the land, the beauty of the
country side, but she also loved to explore. This love of exploration
lead her first to science, then to Starfleet.
She plays the violin for relaxation, an aromatherapy burner usually
scented with lavender oil lit at the same time when she is stressed. She
loves listening to music too, primarily Irish, of all varieties. She is
quite fond of the strains of some old groups like Enya, Clannad, the
Chieftians.
