My Vulcan father made sure he trained me in Vulcan logic. While I
dress like a Bajoran (from the desert areas) on my off time, I think
of the prophets in logical terms as the worm hole creatures. I values
what they have to say only because I know they are creatures who exist
in all times and therefore have a unique insight. My first name is
Alyza and my Vulcan last name is unpronounceable by non-Vulcans. I am
strong, owing to my Vulcan heritage. I also have a logical lack of
trust for Cardassians and, to an extent, Romulans. While in Starfleet
Academy, I specialized in both engineering and planetary biology, the
later in an effort to help Bajor by doing research while in Starfleet.
I am also an expert in computers and an excellent pilot.
My father's name is B'Tzalel and he came to Bajor to help them heal
their land. After all, who better than a planetary biologist (graduate
from the Vulcan Science Academy) from a desert planet like Vulcan? The
areas of Bajor which he chose was a semi-arid and desert area, made
worse by the Cardasian occupation. The semi-arid area was formerly
productive, but the Cardasians managed to destroy the soil, not easily
repaired in a semi arid area.
Alyza was bonded (more than a betrothal, but less than a marriage) to
Barak at age 9. At that point, by Vulcan custom, her name should have
been changed to T'Alyza. However, Rut insisted that Alyza's name be
left as is, in Bajoran fashion. Her father dropped the issue as it is
a small thing and was not logical to dwell upon it. The important
thing is that Alyza was raised as a Vulcan, with the teachings of
logic.
Additionally, since Alyza was trained in Vulcan logic, while my
stomach may get upset at the sight of death (after all, Vulcans abhor
violence and she is half Bajoran), my Vulcan training would get that
under control rather quickly.
I am a vegetarian and eats vegetarian dishes from both cultures.
Additionally, my view of the prophets would allow me to use it as an
epithet, but not as a prayer, after all, my view of the prophets is a
logical one. They are beings who exist without time and as such their
words logically have value. Thus I would study their words, but would
logically not pray to them. Additionally, my mother's name is Rut and
she is a Bajoran biologist.
Since Alyza is trained in engineering, planetary biology, computers,
math, and is a very good pilot (though not the #1 pilot in her class,
that honor when to a human named Richard Fitzpatrick that year), any
position that meets with those areas is okay. Preferred positions are
(in no particular order) science officer, engineering, helm.
Obviously, this allows for some flexibility and greater mobility for
the character.
On SD 80801.1839 Alyza got married to Vulcan computer expert, Barak
(then an ensign). He was transfered from research on earth to the USS
Curie. Barak is from the Vulcan province of Amrap, which borders on
Alyza's father's home province of South Dilcue, both of which are on
the shores of the slightly saline lake Rethnap. Alyza and Barak have a
home in Amrap. Barak's grandfather and head of the family is named
Jorak. His father is Antok and his mother is T'ressa. Barak vanished
with no trace while working in the alien computer core on SD 10.0216.
Since the bond with Alyza was completely severed, he is logically
presumed dead.
She developed a rather close friendship with her first officer, Taavek
until his Katra became part of the alien computer core of the station
on SD 10.0707 His assistance when Alyza's bonded was killed through a
mind meld likely spared her the fate of those Vulcans who go insane
when the bond is broken suddenly and no Vulcan healer is available.
Alyza has a cousin on Vulcan named B'maym, as well as one named
T'Sara. T'Sara is really from the future, but only Alyza, Galia
Bitzalel, Admrial C. DiFalco (ret), and Q know this.

equivalent with might warriors and they made a name for themselves in
the Andorian-Vulcan conflicts.
T'al's parents include his father (deceased) who was a Professor at
the Andorian Academy of Economies. His mother lives on Andoria. Many
of his siblings are involved in commercial ventures and the family
businesses, including his brother Pok, who make frequent stops at
DS101 to drop off the Ch'mokshir clan's special blend of Andorian ale.
Occasionally, he does some questionable business transactions on the
side, although that has yet to be proven.
Education: Standard rigorous Andorian High School; Starfleet Academy
training, double-majored in security and intelligence, minored in
archaeology.
Profile: T'al believes in stoicism, value of hard work, and is usually
uninterested in recreational activities, unless he considers the
activity "training". He puts honor, dignity, and values of the United
Federation of Planets above all else. He hates Andorian ale, and he is
fascinated with Klingons and their sense of honor and battle tactics/
strategies. T'al left Andoria to join Starfleet to "experience life,"
but more importantly, to gain honor for his name as a great warrior, a
lost Ch'Mokshir tradition T'al hopes to reclaim.
Notes on Starfleet Career: Upon entering Starfleet, T'al's ambitions
in the short-term were Chief Security Officer, and eventually Head of
Starfleet Security. As he progressed, however, he found that he
excelled at navigation, and, later, gradually grew into possible
leadership material due to a series of unusually events that redefined
his character. His first major event came on SD 16.0901, when Bacharan
terrorists seriously injured him in an attack. T'al no longer felt
invincible. The psychological effect would carry on throughout his
life. Later, T'al had begun to see himself in a leadership role, more
clearly defined when he was made second officer of DS101 following his
return from a mission to track terrorists in the Armstrong sector on
SD 16.1126. On 17.0408, DS101 was mistakenly attacked by an alien
probe. Due to the crew's team effort, the probe left DS101 space. This
event culminated in promotions for many of the crew, including T'al to
full Lieutenant. Soon after, Lt. T'al was temporarily assigned as
second officer of the USS CURIE on a mission in the Vertudion sector.
On Stardate 17.0609, T'al was seriously injured as he and Lt(jg)
Teel'a narrowly escaped from an away mission where he and Teel'a had
to destroy a Kwani supership from the future. He eventually made a
full recovery, but a few psychological scars remained.
Other notes: He has had no real relationships to speak of. His focus
has been on career. He is open to possibilities, however. T'al is very
annoyed by giggling and too much free time (except for an occasional
drink and time to reflect and meditate). He especially hates
disrespect.
T'al's hobbies include martial arts, reading tactical manuals, and
phaser practice. He does not have many sayings or quotes, but can be
heard saying "DAH!" when angry or hurt and occasionally "If you're not
part of the solution, you're part of the problem."
T'al's religion is Hastra Bei Hastra, a very common non-idolatrous
faith combining beliefs in reincarnation, purification of the soul,
and strict scholasticism, with one wild high holiday a year to allow
for a break from its relative asceticism.
He is a typical Andorian, that is, aggressive, disciplined but short-
tempered, and very, very serious - especially about duty. His most un-
Andorian quality though is that he is not family-oriented as most
Andorians are. He likes control and order, and therefore ideal for
security. He normally hates time-off. He believes in the noble ideals
of the UFP and is willing to uphold those ideals, sometimes
sacrificing friends and family to do so.

Background:
Jack Kersh was born and raised on a small farm in southern Texas.
Shortly after his two year old birthday, Jack's parents divorced.
Being a young child, he has never suffered the effects of the divorce
due to know recollection of his parents ever being together. Kenneth
Kersh still remained a part of Jack's life even after both his parents
remarried.
Growing up it was evident Kersh would choose a career in helping
others. It was not rare for little Jackson to come home with strays
ranging from kittens to Bolians, begging his mother to keep them.
Naturally, Samantha could never resist her little boy's requests,
despite her new husband's views. This habit later resulted in the
meeting of his fiancée, Bel Katea, or Katie as he calls her.
The couple met during Kersh's visit to Paris, France in unfortunate
circumstances. She was found beaten and left for dead in a
snow-covered alleyway. The cause of her attack was never found. A
bond was made and the two were rarely seen apart during the year they
spent traveling with Jack's friend, John. Both fell in love and it
eventually led to a night in bed. Feeling ashamed, Bel left and later
found out she was with Jack's child. The child was named after his
father, whom he never met until the age of six when Katie took on the
position of DS101's stress/work therapist. Jack spent a year's time
before entering Starfleet Academy searching for the love of his life.

During zero grav training cadet Burton almost killed cadet H'Pogh
during a argument that got out of hand. This incident occurred when
after there training they were in the airlock, only the quick action
of fellow cadets and instructors prevented further injuries. Both
cadets were put in the brig for a week and a reprimand was placed in
their files.

Ensign Burton was one among the senior staff members who were arrested
during a fight that erupted during a Grav-Ball contest held at the
station. Not being the starter of the fight he didn't prevent his
fellow officers to stop fighting either. His lack of emotion and
apparent calmness, a rare treat in the human race, make me believe
that there is something more behind it all. His duties on the other
hand have not been affected by it. He, along with his fellow officers
were released by security after a few hours.

After responding to the SOS from Outpost 21 and sending a engineering
and medical teams over, we followed the ion trail of the pirates that
had raided the station. Only discovering the Klingon pirate vessel,
heavily damaged, floating in an asteroid field.
When beaming onboard we found one of the missing colonists: Tim
Burton, he was sitting on the captain's chair on the bridge. All
bridge personnel of the Klingon raider had been systematically
slaughtered with, what seemed to be, a large knife. A knife the young
man was holding! I send a letter to Starfleet Medical explaining the
circumstances we found the young men in. I hope the psychs can do
something with him.

I feel confident that Burton is again ready to return to society.
Counsellor Kasindi still feels that Burton hatred towards Klingons is

SFA, a new family and friends can be made in SFA. Even so I have sent

Lucas Brooks follows an ancient Clan Spiritual Path which is a
religion
based on the forces of the universe (some people might call fate) and
uses natural elements in many of its ceremonies.
Family Relations
Lucas Brooks has a healthy relationship with his mother, step father,
sister and his younger half brother. Lucas and his sister have a
unique and close relationship. In their Acamarian culture twins of any
kind are considered pieces of the same, two sides of one. During their
Individuality ceremony where an Acamarian receives an unique tattoo to
celebrate their individuality Lucas and Joyce were given the same
tattoo to remind them always of their oneness. They were however
assigned different guides to reflect their personalities, or two side
of one, Lucas receiving the Protector and Joyce the Healer. Lucas does
not like talking about his older brother as the family dis-agrees with
his stance on the warring of clans, and consider him to have dis-
honoured them. The family supports the movement on the planet that has
developed towards peace with other clans and wish for these small
groups in each clan to stop their fighting and attacks. Lucas tells me
that a strong sense of the clan was instilled in him and his siblings
by their Uncle, when Andexez came to live with them on Earth. Andexez
had a very vengeance stance on the warring of clans which he shared
only with Lucas' older brother, Lucas speculated that his Uncle most
likely targeted his older brother because Andrew Brooks had been
involved with minor infractions before, because he was older and more
susceptible to following others. The disappearance of Lucas' father
still troubles him in the aspect that his father was never found even
given the through investigation using the newest technology. However
he
has come to accept that his father is most likely dead and has learned
to live with this fact. Lucas speaks fondly of the time he can
remember with his father when he was younger.
Final Summary
Lucas Brooks seems to be ambitious man focused on his future and
knowing clearly where his loyalties lie in this family and in
Starfleet. Lucas Brooks tends to be fairly head strong when he really
believes something is right or wrong, even if it might get him in
trouble. Ever since he was a young child he has been the protector of
family, friend and even strangers, it was the sign he was born under
and the guide he was given in his Individuality Ceremony. This helps
define him as the kind hearted person he appears to be. Lastly he

BACKGROUND TO THE RENTARIANS:
Evolutionary Background - The Rentarian system is five light years
from the Gamma Quadrant entrance to the Ba-lorgar Wormhole. The system
consists of 12 planets revolving around a binary star (a Red Giant and
a White Dwarf). All of the planets are populated with colonists that
originated from the fourth planet form the stars. This planet is named
Rentar Prime. The Rentarians have quite a similar evolution to the
Vulcan Race. During the very early millennia, the habitants of the
planet were of savage, warrior-like beings. Thousands of years later
they discovered the Religion of Opakmu. This led them to the
understanding of peace and friendship, where as the Vulcan's opted for
Logic. Over the years, Rentar Prime's surface area started warming up
quite considerably, due to the ozone layer disappearing (just like
Twentieth Century Earth). The population adapted to the warming by
shedding their hair, they now have no body hair at all, except for the
bushy sideburns. They have also developed many more sweat glands which
produce a sweet honey-smell. This operates like pheromones. It
attracts the opposite sex and every Rentarian has their own differing
smell. To cope with the bright light their eyes evolved into a totally
red stare and they developed a black retracting membrane to block out
the UV rays. The Rentarian gestation period is 15 months. A Rentarian
is born like any other normal infant, but within six weeks is a fully-
grown adult. They also have the mental age of la 16 year-old when
born, because while in the womb of the mother the embryo has the
ability to sense the feeling and pick up the senses of its host. This
means that when born the infant Rentarian can talk and understand the
former host/parent. Rentarians are known for their loyalty. Their ways
of understanding difficult situations helps them in battle, even
thought they will go out of their way to resolve any potentially
violent problems in a peaceful way.

Background:
However no one is certain about the exact life of Teel'a, some parts
are known. The first existence to the Federation about Teel'a was
during a peace conference between the Cait and the Kzin. Captain
Warden was a delegate and peace negotiator for the UFP. During these
peace talks the swapping of prisoners was discussed. One matter in
particular: the problem off a Cait-Kzin female bastard.
It appeared the Kzin had created such a creature in an laboratory to
act as an assassin. No-one would believe a female Kzin has the
intelligence and abilities to be an skilled and trained murderer.
Teel'a however was trained being a highly perfectioned killing-
machine. She has the looks and apperarances of a female Kzin (robust
build, tall figure) but the intelligence of the Cait. In her early
life she was conditioned to act only as assassin, no emotions were
allowed, her reflexes at trained to the top.
She was dropped on Cait and was able to kill several high-placed
political and scientific Cait before being captured during a raid. She
killed more then a dozen Cait-elite warriors before she could be
captured. The Caitan had no clue what she was and kept her imprisoned
in a fortified POW - camp. For her unussual appearances and being a
female, which is usualy been abused aped and dominated by sodliers in
the Cait Kzinti-wars; she was hated and abused by both the other
Kzinti prisoners as the Caitain Guards.
Later she was brainwashed by the Caitain and re-located to Kzinti
where she also served as a assassin and double-agent for the Caitain.
During a raid with Caitain soldiers they where ambushed and betrayed
to the Kzinti and more then two squads highly trained special forces
of the Caitain where slaughtered. Only Teel'a was able toe scape back
to Cait but there she was taken prisoner again as the Caiatin belived
she ahd betrayed them.
Again she was kept in a Camp for POW. More then once there where
fights as she tried to defend herself from severe rape and torture,
she was able to gain some respect by killing some of her potential
threaths, but was also more then once injured badly. The troubles
became so tremendous that the Cait has asked the Federation to take
Teel'a await from Cait or else they would have to execute her. Captain
Hugh Warden believed Teel'a had the abilities to be a valuable
addition to Starfleet and decided to take her to Earth.
She spend two more years at different military bases and scientific
laboratories where her assassin-conditioning was repressed and her
emotional development was allowed and stimulated. At the age of 15
(for a Kzin this is almost an adult age) she was allowed to enter the
SFA at Los Angeles.
Teel'a became a good student and was able to get along fine in the
lessons. She graduated in midrange of her class and now wants to
become a Starfleet officer and proove her loyalty to Starfleet.

Psychological profile:
Teel'a is member of the feline species. Basically she is a predator
which in her case is pushed to the top by her early conditioning at
the Kzin military laboratories. Her time at the Cait Prisoner-Of-War
camps and on Earth has given her the time and possibilities to learn
to control her emotion somehow.
However she still is emotional unstable and small events can quickly
alter her moods. Mostly she is kind but shy and extreme cautious in
handling others. She has learned through the years that her strength
and speed are somewhat a risk for the more "fragile species". Therefor
she tends toward being slow but gracious in her movements.
Since Teel'a is raised in a laboratory she has never knew the pleasure
and safety of being part of a family or have a real home. She is a
loner in many ways and likes the silence of wide open places and free
nature. Her emotions are rarely shown to others and she has
difficulties with making friends. But once she has found someone she
trusts and is friends with it is a bond for ever. In the same way she
is not easy insulted but when she is Teel'a has proven to be a
dangerous and keen opponent.
Fears:
Teel'a has few fears; the only two worth mentioning are an almost
claustrofobic fear for small places, possibly caused from being locked
away many times in cages and prison-cells during her youth. And an
almost uncontrollably fear and hate towards High rank Kzin- or Caitain
military, this probably due to the heavy abuse in the military camps.
Annoyances:
She is very much a loner and some what holding back on her own
personality.
Some people believe this is because Teel'a feels herself better then
others and she is to proud to mix with others. Others have spread the
rumour that Teel'a has severe psychological damage caused by the bad
treatments in the Prisoncamps on Cait. No matter what people say
Teel'a has proven to be capable to function as an Starfleet Cadet at
the academy and in the heart of battle as Ensign.
Weakness:
Teel'a hates liars and people who pretend to be better then others.
She has no known physical weaknesses but several psychological. She
still has nightmares about what happened in the
prisoncamps on Cait and she suppresses the feelings and memories about
those months in prison.
Teel'a is verry shy and uncertain with people who are not familiar to
her and tend to hold them away from her personal life.
She has an almost uncontrollably hate and fear towards Caitain and
Kzinti. Seeing one is enough to make her act without thinking.

Teel'a is extreme agile, flexible and has incredible reflexes. Her
body has no known medical lacks.
It is believed the Kzin have created an almost perfect feline
individual with Teel'a. Her senses are developed beyond many
standards, she has excellent nightvision, detailed smell and an almost
supernatural sense for danger.
Her body has te ability of healing quickly what is neccessary as a
soldier behind enemy lines gets injured. She has retractable claws on
both her
hands and feet that are about 7 to 8 cm long, razor-sharp and strong
enough to get grip to a vertical wall and let her climb up with a
backpack of more
then 75 kg on her back.
Physical tests have shown that she is able to jump more then 8 metres
far and 3 metres high without any problem. She is capable of carrying
100 kg for several hours without showing much of fatigue, her reflexes
are equal to the best known in Caitain or Kzinti standards and far
above human, this is only natural for a feline species.
DNA-samples show she might be able to develop the Kzin telepathic
powers without the need of the extract from the lymph glands of the
Sthondat.
However being mainly a carnivore she doesn't needs to eat only meat
but is also capable to survive several weeks on cooked vegetables,
fish and milk or cheese.

Starfleet History
During his final year of conventional education Tekan was selected to
apply to Starfleet Academy (as part of that years recruitment
programme). Following a series of tests and scenarios Tekan was
selected to enter the Academy the following year.
Tekan had originally been aiming to follow his father into the field
of
space navigation (his father was at the time heading up the Orbital
Navigational Authority, although he had previously worked many years
as a Navigator on aT rading Starship), but even his father was so much
in favour of accepting the offer that Tekan felt honour bound to do
so.
At the Academy Tekan built upon his own experiences (gained from
accompanying his father) as well as his early training in a number of
airborne craft. By the time of entering the Academy Tekan already held
several flight certifications(although non in orbit capable craft).
As the initial (generic) stages of Starfleet training neared their end
it was already clear which branch the young Tamarthan would be
training for and it was without much surprise that Tekan was accepted
into Flight Operations training.
Following his graduation from Starfleet Academy Tekan was initially
assigned to one of the larger exploratory ships as one of its flight
control officers. The ships missions frequently took it out of
reliable communication range with Starfleet but after completing a two
year tour of duty Tekan was re-assigned to a smaller, more defense
orientated, ship. With the smaller size though came responsibility as
Tekan was assigned as Senior FCO.
A number of smaller postings followed and a promotion to Lt(jg). Then
Following a short tour with the diplomatic corps as an Aide he was
recalled to Earth for advanced training. This focused on the
operations side of flight control, with a healthy dose of navigation
practices for Starbase operations.
Now a new assignment beckons, this time among the world of the
Cocoon, and once again he looks forward.

Basic Description
Tekan is a Tamarthan. He is essentially a normal terran type
humanoid, although the upper canines on his people are slightly
pronounced and they have a slightly 'wolfish' cast to their features.
Rozard is not a reserved character, he is often found in the middle
of whatever activity is going on (although he is certainly not
'brash'. Apart from his professional training and experience Tekan has
been 'flying' in one craft or another since his early teens and is
quite at home on a wide variety of craft.
He has a strong interest in the mechanics and history of flight and
while at the Academy he learnt to fly and maintain a range of craft
from Earth's own history. In fact he can often be found in a holodeck
flying anything from an old Tiger Moth Biplane to a modern orbital
interface interceptor.
He is not really a trained fighter but he can hold his own in most
bar brawls and can pull out quite a turn of speed when the time comes
to 'head for the hills'. His early life has also given him a good
insight into Flight Operations and he is rated quite highly in the
disciplines required to maintain the flight paths of an active
Starbase.

Hunter is 5'11" tall with dark hair and bright hazel eyes. There is a
fleck of gold in them, where in certain types of light, or angles of
light, they change to a brilliant green. Her figure is slim and her
brown hair rests just below her shoulder blades. Her hair is hardly
ever tied back as she considers it one of her greatest features.

Hunter's mother, Micah Martruis, was a showgirl on Risa. Her father,
Hamilton Etori, is an expert on Evolutionary Biology and travels
extensively throughout the quadrant doing consulting work. It was more
a weekend of lustful passion, than a loving relationship, that
resulted in Hunter's conception. Hamilton was long gone when Micah was
given the news that she was pregnant with a child. After the birth,
Micah contacted Hamilton to return and claim the child, as she wanted
nothing to do with her. Hamilton could not refuse and so he returned
to Risa, not to reunite with a weekend flame, but to collect a child
that resulted out of a moment of lust.
Hunter was the name her father gave her, for up until his arrival she
was simply Baby Girl. Hunter grew up as an only child with no one but
her father to care for her. While she had her father's mind for
science, she had her mother's beauty.

Hunter followed her father across the stars as he collaborated on
multiple projects. There was no time for formal schooling, but her
father taught her all that he knew and treated her like an equal from
the time she was a small child. Hamilton could see, that while he was
considered to be brilliant in his field, his daughter grasp the same
concepts with greater ease than he had. He was certain that one day,
she too would be considered brilliant.
Hunter contained within herself, her mother's flair for theatrics and
the need for attention, even though she had never known her mother,
nor could remember her. While her father admired her for her mind,
everyone else whom the child met had admired her beauty. They paid no
attention to her father's comments on the grasp of the child's mind,
and instead continually commented on the child's appearance. The idea
of beauty became a fixated motif within Hunter's personality and at
age 15 she began to model with the Orion's Belt Modeling Agency. This
was completely against her father's wishes, but he had never been able
to NO to Hunter. With unprecedented speed, she quickly became their
foremost client bringing in contracts from around the Alpha and Beta
Quadrants. She loved the attention, but missed her father.
After 3.5 years of whirlwind schedules, touring, and promotions,
Hunter took a leave of absence and returned to be with her father.
Hamilton took this time to convince his daughter that she would never
be fully happy with this career path, as it would not stimulate her
mind. He convinced her that she could continue with this career on the
side and look into the possibility of attending Star Fleet Academy in
the Sciences. She agreed more out of desperation to please her father,
than out of any deep love for the sciences. So at 19 years of age,
this is how her new career began.

Hunter never tried very hard in her studies, yet somehow she just
understood it all. She flew through her coursework, never really
paying attention to those around her, who seemed to really struggle
through the tougher concepts. She did excel, if not astound
instructors within the fields of Genetics, Evolutionary Systematics,
and Relative Species Genetics. This was a direct result of her
father's devotion to treating her like an equal from a young age.
Hunter graduated at age 23 from the academy with Honors, though she
was not the actual Academy's Honor Graduate. She didn't care, for her
extracurricular modeling activities had again reached an all time
high. She loved that attention more so than any attention she could
receive through academics, or so she thought.
For the next 5 years, Hunter has been stationed at the Darwin Genetic
Research Station at the Daystrom Institute of Technology. She has been
promoted twice during her tenure there and now maintains a rank of
Lieutenant. Most of the information concerning her research at the
Institute is clouded in layers of Classified Material. However, her
public persona in the modeling world has tripled within these last 5
years. Besides being in several Holo-Vids, as well as several
Music-Vids, she currently is the only Starfleet officer to be named
Miss Alpha Quadrant. Every few months she graces the cover of yet
another Holo-Magazine which is distributed throughout the Federation.
Currently with the shortage of trained officers within the Cocoon,
Hunter has been transferred to DS101 to serve as their Chief Science
Officer. Not interested in remaining in her current, but boring, job
at the Research Station, Hunter has accepted the transfer.

Hunter, on first contact, can appear slightly stuck up and aloof. One
could almost be given the impression that she is nothing more than a
ditz in a science uniform. This causes individuals to underestimate
her abilities. Her brain takes in so much information and moves as
such a speed that her mouth cannot keep up with the connections that
her brain makes. During these instances she seems like a space-cadet
vaguely answering questions until out of the blue she makes a
remarkable analysis.
