Teal Pant Set


Hello all. Thanks for all the emails over the past few weeks, but no worries I’m back


This is a lovely little pants set in a super shade of teal. I love it!


I have gotten a few question abut all of the jewelry I wear, starting most recently with my bracelet from Butler and Wilson.

I have found same great costume jewelry in HSN lately, try it. Look especially at the Adrienne Arpel stuff

In any case it is easy to search, and for those of us that do not have pierced ears there are a fair amount of clip earrings

I had coffee with my old corsetiere Sadie yesterday, celebrating her 75th birthday, though I am sure she is older

I was so lucky to have her near me, and for her to be so pen. Of course she was an ex RN, and as she said “I’ve seen it all”.

She brought up the first time I went to see her fully dressed. She had made it clear that she would love to have me as a customer but not dressed. I complied of courser, though I often wore pantyhose to make trying on girdles easier.

One October Saturday afternoon I got a call at 4 O’clock from her telling me two girdles I had altered were done. Since I was dressed I told her I would see her the next Saturday. She explained she would be closed for 2 weeks vacation. So I told her I was dressed

After a few seconds she said “Well come over anyway.” I always paid cash and I figured she wanted it for her vacation. But to get to her place I needed to drive, which I seldom did when dressed. I decided to take the chance—the lure of new girdle was too strong


I remember exactly what I was wearing, a navy blue long sleeve dress, with navy blue pumps. Of course I wore a girdle and longline, with some beige RHT hose


I have mentioned many times that I was insane about passing, and this day was no exception. My wig was professional and conservative, my make up also conservative. I put on my coat, drove over, parked in front, got my purse and went in.


“May I help you?” she asked as I walked in

She was honestly shocked and I was thrilled. The best part was her checking the fit on my altered girdles. And she left the curtain to the dressing room open

She told me she has someone she wants me to meet! She introduced Nurse Kathy to me, and she knows my situation. I said OK, now she will set it up. More to come
