Hi Girls! Dog days of summer here in the northeastern part of the US.
This is a dress I got on EBay. It is from the Silhouettes catalog, and I got a pretty good deal on it.
The only problem was It was really wrinkled! Every chiffon layer you see, the sating bodice, all incredibly wrinkled. It took me almost 90 minutes to iron it. I think the result was worth it though
This wig is a new look for me--I like it!
A couple of nights ago I went to a cocktail party/fundraiser with my friends Alice and Jane. I have mentioned them often on my site
I love going to these things because the women get dressed up. And my two friends were dressed to kill, and both of them were wearing hosiery. Considering the temperature here I was surprised.
At one point at the part I sat for a moment with a fresh glass of wine, and I saw Jane and Alice in a conversation with some other people.

The stockings are from “Secrets in Lace”. Yes they are overpriced but they make amazing stockings. And stockings are harder than ever to buy on EBay.
Where else can you find "dot" stockings, with or without lace top, with a reinforced heel and toe?
And all of the internet stockings sites are expensive
Where was I?...Oh yes…..Alice is one of those amazingly attractive women who could have her blond hair back in a ponytail no makeup on, and still turn heads everywhere she goes. She’s tall with a terrific figure
Jane, on the other hand, has to work at it. I have never seen her without perfect makeup, lipstick, blush, foundation, eye makeup etc. Her hair is always perfectly styled, she is always well dressed. But just not a physically attractive as Alice.
Don’t get me wrong, Jane is lovely, and just a glamorous as can be, but it doesn’t come easily. Jane is the one of the two who admitted wearing a girdle.
If I had my choice between the two, I would take Jane in a heartbeat. I like the fact that she has to work at it—and than she does work at it!
This also explains my attraction to Trudy the lawyer. She is not great looking, but she looks great
I spent a little time at Sephora and I got the first woman ever there who didn’t want to help me. I was looking for a certain lipstick and she did not want to find it. Oh well!
On the other hand I went into the Mac store at a local mall. I really like their makeup brushes, and I needed a few. The woman, who was stunning, was wonderful. I got the brushes, and she kept selling me. A colleague who was even more stunning joined in , and I got new lipstick, lip liner and eye shadow as well.
That Janice Dickenson, the ex model, is a B---h, but boy is she sexy!
All of the stores are having huge sales, and Lord and Taylor has “50% off the lowest price” going on now
So here I am looking at dresses, and this incredibly rude woman reaches in front of me and grabs one I was looking at! I was holding two other dresses when she said “Can I look at those?” she reached for them as I stood there, so I pulled them back
“No” I said. “And what you did was awfully rude”. “Tough luck” she grunted.
I didn’t even want the dresses I was holding but dammed if she was going to get them.
She went off to the dressing room, leaving behind a pile of stuff she was, I assume, planning to buy. So I scooped it all up, went upstairs and found a place in the children’s department to leaves it all.
I waited for her to come out, and five minutes late she shuffles along, back to where she left everything. She looked up and down, side to side, asked a clerk. Finally I walked over, smiled and said “Lose something?” She gave me a pretty dirty look and I said “Tough luck!”
I hate to keep repeating the same thing, but once again—I am not attracted to men! There is nothing you could ever do or say that will even cause me to acknowledge an email. Please don’t write to me! Please! I don't wnat any presents, and I have plenty of my own money
