You know I have been going through some odd changes lately.
This girdle is one I had custom made a few years ago from a company called “Maitresse”.
The bra is one of my favorite Goddess models.
For example, I have suddenly gotten interested in lower heels. Sometimes I think they are even sexier than my standard 5-inch heels. Ironic isn’t it? I spend a lifetime getting comfortable in 5 inch heels (I can and have run in them!) and now I like 2 inch heels!!
Putting on a little more makeup....there is never enough.
I also have gotten back into big petticoats and dresses. These were SOP for me for years, then I pretty much stopped wearing them, now I am back wearing them. I wonder why?
And I actually look forward to wearing pantyhose as opposed to stockings occasionally…..

I go through lipstick phases all the time---pink for 6 weeks, then only red, then coral, but usually only once……Oh well
Speaking of makeup, anyone have any hints for foundation? My stash of Ultima II Ultimate coverage is close to running out

Every Girl needs a little black dress, especially this time of year!
I saw this beautiful dress at Filenes’s about 3 months ago. It was only $120, which I though was a pretty fair price, and it was from Valerie Stevens, an excellent brand.
I was about to violate April’s first rule of shopping---say it with me girls----“Never Ever Pay full price!!!!!!!”-----
But they didn’t have my size! Damm! Miss April sometimes has a short attention span for clothes, she just goes on to the next thing.
So here I am, shopping the day after Thanksgiving, elbowing my way in looking for the real bargains. So I went to a different Filenes, and I see the elusive dress. On sale, with 50% more off and I had a coupon. Paid $34 and change for this, eat your hearts out!
One of the things I love when dressed like this is that underneath I have on 2 slips, a girdle and stockings, panties, and pantyhose on. Knowing this is, for some reason, a real turn on for me.
I often find myself wondering what women are wearing under their dresses, especially at formal affairs.
