I found your site a few weeks ago and I must say I have come back to it a lot. What fun! I am a real girl, a “GG” as you “girls’ call us, and I love your pictures, your sense of style, and your running commentary. I sell Mac cosmetics at a department store here in southern California and I get quite a few girls, some dressed, some not. I am not sure what to do or how to wait on them. I want to be friendly but I don’t want them getting the wrong idea either. Any advice?

Well Mary, let me ask you this question: are you on commission? If so be really really nice to us “girls” ‘cause we will spend and spend! We generally don’t wait until a lipstick runs out, we always want more and new and different! So treat us nicely and with respect, and be clear that while interested in helping us buy makeup that is, indeed, all you are interested in. BTW Mac Red is a fav of mine!

I own a good size resale shop outside of Chicago. I get a lot of crossdressers as customers, and while I want the business I am worried about the effect it has on my regular customers. I deal only with high end merchandise, and I also get a lot of women’s sizes. Just last Saturday three CD’s came in in the middle of the afternoon, dressed and not very convincing. A couple of my regulars left. What should I do?

Be honest. Tell the “girls” that while you appreciate the business, you depend a lot more on your regular customers. Ask them to be more discreet. Also suggest they come in at the very beginning or end of the day, especially on Saturday. Finally, how about staying open one night a week specifically for the “girls”? Do it Monday or Tuesday when you might not have much regular business.

My CD husband directed me to your site. I work at a Nordstrom’s in Chicago, and I am on commission. I make quite a bit of money, and I work hard. I have a few CD’s as customers, and I would like to expand this. Any ideas on how to get the word out?

A few suggestions, assume any men who are there buying are CD’s, and tell them to tell their friends. Also, ask them if they want to try on the shoes! While we all know our sizes, shoes run differently. You might have read somewhere on my site that I tend to shop malls on Monday or Tuesday might, later in the evening. Finally, I have had a bunch of questions in the last month on a page that has been on my site for years. It’s pouffy page 5 where I am wearing a Suzi’s Ruffles outfit. The answer to all the questions is yes, it is a diaper I am wearing under my pantyhose. I remember this day well, because it was the last of 4 days of April visiting. I wore a diaper because I like to, and because I had a catheter in since the day before.
