Here is a new brocade suit I got at OPT. I keep trying to find these on EBay and there doesn’t seem to be much of a choices and when there are one or two they are pretty darned expensive

Mat latest search for these suits on EBay has led me to think about EBay and how it has changed. What is better from my perspective, and what it not as good as it used to be.
Let’s start with girdles. Definitely not as good, sorry. I got some amazing girdles on EBay, but there are less and less these days. Good sellers like Cherry-tomatoe, Trashypoo, and nancyromacy don’t seem to have what they used to. Gilo49 is still good, but when every there is anything good on EBay it tends to get quite expensive.
Longline bras are almost always new these days, no more vintage speak of
There are still some good stockings, but the more desirable sizes and lengths can get really expensive. Fortunately for me I not only like mesh stockings but I take a 10 1/2 medium. If you are and 11 or larger and a long prepare to spend real money
Jewelry has gotten a lot better, and real bargain can be found. I don’t just like big earring, I like any drop earrings, and there are more sellers than ever. I looked at some earrings at an antique show a few weeks ago for $49.00, and I got a similar pair on EBay for $7.99
If you like really big flashy earrings there are a lot more of those too, but the prices are still up there.
And if you are a fan of big rings you’ll find a lot more of those too, and at OK prices
Necklaces and bracelets are plentiful, but with these more than anything else check out the shipping cost and where the item is coming from—many come from China or Hong Kong
Slips are still reasonable, though it seems that whatever slip I want of the thousands on auction someone else wants as well
Quite honestly I have had better luck with slips in the catalogs and websites on line. Though I imagine this will be more difficult with Friskman's gone
Dresses are more plentiful than ever. Type in dress and your size and you can be overwhelmed. Unless I really love a dress I bid low and I am prepared to lose the item. I have gotten amazing dress of only $10!
Makeup is amazing, and if you want some outrageous stuff look at the UK sites. One called “Uberstylie” has amazing things, as does one called “Sarahsallsorts”. Even with the horrible exchange rate they are inexpensive, and they all know how to ship here discreetly
False eyelashes on EBay can be as dramatic as you want, and there are some great bargains too. Again if you check out the UK sites you’ll find some great stuff
I got the really long nails on EBay too
And there are more big hair wig vendors on EBay than ever before. I have tried a lot of new people and generally I have been really happy
Thre are also lots of panties! I like briefs, floral whenver possible, and there always seesm to be something
A lot of the apparel found on EBay is catalog returns, so you can often get a good bargain
I have said in the past that I am not the only part time gal out there with an odd interest in feminine Hygiene. Not surprisingly I like the old fashioned belts and napkins. There are no bargains on this stuff. Just last week a box of 24 Modess hospital size napkins was up over $50 with 4 days to go. Luckily for me an EBay vendor once offered a “lot” of various size Modess and Beltx belts for a pretty good price. She probably regrets this now
