Denmark

Bandy was introduced in Denmark by the "bandy missionary" CG Tebbutt in 1893, however it wasn't until 1906 before the first proper games were played. Bandy was almost exclusively played in Copenhagen, with Københavns Skøyteførening being the dominating club. The Danish Bandy Union was formed 1909, but was only active until 1924 when bandy sadly died in Denmark.

Danish teams played a number of games against Swedish opposition, mainly from Malmö and Københavns Skøyteførening took part in the Nordic Games bandy tournament in 1909 and 1917.
