George, I am sending A few PICS from the 1961 Westpac cruise book, and one of me(S.R.HouckSN3) taken on the 61 cruise in the aft gun tub, port side, with Hong Kong in the back ground. Operation Plymouth was performed off the Calif. coast while inroute from Bremerton to S.D. The car was owned by a R.L. Atwood GM3 from G5 div and was purchased for $50 so the catapults could be tested. As I remember Atwood Pd $35 for the car. these photos also appeared in Hot Rod magazine where it was alleged to set a new record for a stock Plymouth..
