In it's sixth consecutive year the ARIEGEOISE is now one of the most popular cyclosportives in France (last year classed as eleventh on the national calendar) this year due to the publicity that the Plateau de Beille received after it's stage finish in the Tour de France the organizers are expecting greater interest still.

The Plateau de Beille, the climb where  Pantani outclassed all his adversaries in the last  Tour de France.. Le Plateau de Beille, where Rinero, Ulrich,  Roux and  De Las Cuevas showed there talent in the  Tour de l'Avenir, the  Route du Sud and the Ronde de l'lsard .
Who can ride ?
Open to any one, with or without a club licence, aged over18 years (born before the 10 January 1982) you must enclose a doctors note stating that you are fit to ride if your licence does not cover you in this respect

PRIZES TO THE FIRST THREE OF EACH CATEGORY
EACH PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE:

THE ARIEGEOISE  JERSEY  GIVEN ON RETURN OF THE DOSSARD/EVENT NUMBER

A DIPLOMA "LARIEGEOISE" GIVEN ON COMPLETION

A  LOTTERY WILL BE DRAW USING THE EVENT ENTRY NUMBERS
 

This year there are three rides to choose from : 

L'ARIEGEOISE
161 Km  Dénivelé    3440 m.

Nalzen Alt: 630m/ Roquefixade Alt: 756m/ Port de Lers alt:1 517m/
col de Port Alt :1249m  /Plateau de Beille Alt: 1 785 m . 

Technical and Medical support and food and energy drinks are provided during the cyclosportive .

An  evening meal is open to all participants with "ambience garantie".26th  June  at Tarascon,
Price of the meal : 70 Francs you are invited to subscribe when completing the entry form .

PLEASE NOTE
Last date for registration  24th June1999.
Before beginning the cyclosportive,you are obliged to visit the "Parc Coureurs" of each  Circuit (open at 6h30) to  register for
your electronic bracelet .Any participants who does not register will be disqualified.
There will be check points using the electronic bracelets that each participant is required to wear .Anyone not returning the bacelet will be charged 250 Francs.
DOSSARDS
To collect your dossard, your jersey and the frame for the electronic bracelet,
present yourselves at the control point on friday 25th june between 9 am et 8pm
Start times will be staggered starting from 8 am
