As Scully finished her slide presentation, she noticed that Mulder seemed a bit distracted. It wasn't like him to fall into such a funk when a new X-File was the subject at hand. At least Skinner had seemed interested in the slides, though he did seem to focus on the Spice Girls' outfits more than their unfathomable lyrics.

Worried about Mulder, Scully decided to pop by his apartment on the way home. She could work on that abstract for "The Journal of Anomalous Autopsies" tomorrow night. "Scully! I'm a bit...umm...surprised to see you at this hour. I guess I should introduce you to my guests. Scully, these are the Spice Girls. Ladies, this is my partner, Agent Scully."
