The Amazing Boonedoggle Flag Contest

Raymond Boone has made a great suggestion that has turned into another contest. If you recall the last Boonedoggle, we had a contest to design a t-shirt logo. After the winning logo(s) were selected, we made t-shirts using computer technology to generate iron-on transfers. It was quite successful and a lot of the family members bought them. Unfortunately the transfers didn't last through many washings, so it only provided a short-term memory of the event.

This year the contest will be around the design of a flag. We would like the winning flag to be a permanent fixture at the Boonedoggle events. If you come up with the winning design, your reward will be immortalization in the form of your flag!

The design options are totally open to whatever you think would make an effective flag. The only requirement is that BOONEDOGGLE is printed clearly on the flag. We're not sure how the flag will be constructed, but it probably won't happen until after this year's gathering.

Put you pencils to paper and start designing. You have five months to let those creative juices flow. Then you should bring your design to the Boonedoggle and we'll select the winner by popular vote.
