Player of the Week
Scott Mitchell answered critics about his performance to date with a 31
point game vs Chicago. Peil was the BRFL beneficiary with a 65-35 win over
Wallace.

JK wins LeShon
There wasn't a fantasy team in the entire country that had LeShon Johnson in
its lineup this week. He is not even on a roster in the 14 team, 14 deep BRFL.
Needless to say, his 214 yard, 2 touchdown (17 point) performance is a shock.
Jones/Klingman wins the LeShon derby. Perhaps remembering former Arizona back
Ronald Moore, who scored 4 TD in week 14 in 1993.

Jackson Lulls Talbot to Sleep, 27-18
Mike Talbot came like a bat out of hell the first three weeks of the season.
The '95 runner up quickly dispatched three opponents, claimed the top spot in
the BRFL, and then put up a weak 18 points against Jackson. Jackson has
rediscovered his old formula of bring out the worst in his opponent. More
Evidence: League Leading
scorer Peil sandwiched weeks of 51 and 65 points around an 18 that he put up in
a loss to Jackson.
Peil loses QB Shootout, Wins Game
WALLACE's Oakland QBs out scored PEIL's Detroit QBs 32-31, but Peil had
bothered to rely on more than just a QB: Loville, Brooks, Blades and
Perriman (twice) all scored and Peil romped 65-35.
Some revenge for BEST and STROUPE
CZ has a been a thorn in the side of Best lately winning the last 5 of 6.
However, BEST gained a measure of revenge with a 67-12 win. Terrell
Davis scored twice, Tony Martin thrice and special reserve kicker
Adam Vinatieri scored 16 points to hand CZ his worst defeat in history. The
fact that a New England kicker contributed to this onslaught has to be
particularly upsetting to CZ.
STROUPE learned the last two weeks that if you scored in the 40s, you lose.
So why not score in the 50s? Adam BARRY, Stroupe's playoff conquerer as
a 14th seed last year, was the 52-37 victim.
Dilger helps Moskowski slips past J/K
The only TD scored in the Monday night game was fatal to J/K. Ken Dilger
grabbed a short pass in the back of the endzone to seal the victory for
Mosakowski. J/K was once again victimized by their choice of Jason Hanson
as their kicker. Had they started John Kasey whenever he was available, they
would be 3-1.
BUD Slide Continues
Score another one for GATES' chain gang. And start wondering "whatever became
of BUD DEITRICH". BUD is a .500 team for the first time ever
in the BRFL. Wesley Walls was the hero for Gates, as well as BUD alum Terrence
Mathis.
QB woes for Outlaw
OUTLAW's Dan Marino didn't score in Monday night's game and fractured an ankle.
The result for Miami was two Joe Nedney field goals, which translates into
6 points for RICKER, allowing him to overtake OUTLAW 28-24.
