Brian Ricker won his second BRFL Super Bowl 57-22, denying Wallace back to
back titles and a third championship. Ricker, who also won in 1992, becomes
the second team to win two championships. Wallace (93,96) was the other.
Ricker got started early when in the Saturday game, Green Bay's D and
Antonio Freeman scored the first two scores of the game. Green Bay later
returned a pick for a score. In the second game, Wallace's D scored 3 points.
At the end of Saturday, it was 22-3 Ricker.
On Sunday, all Ricker need to do was get John Elway on the field. Elway
threw career high 4 TDs and set a career high for the season with 27. Although
Wallace also benefited with a big game from Shannon Sharpe, it was over for
him when Pittsburgh QBs failed to score.
