José Nieto: BWANA

Independent from the collection which bears his name, the composer José Nieto and the label Vinilo deliver the soundtrack of the new movie of director Imanol Uribe. Already referenced by its title, this story of african inmigrants and their integration problems in the actual spanish society, allow his author the use of certain ethnic musical recourses, which may be not too specially original on its starting point but are wonderfully assimilate to the general style of the score. This one, lay on a characteristic and attractive melody of his author, make use of all kind of instrumental and structural gestures, to obtain a particular and personal musical wholeness, a must example of the continuing upgrading of quality and interest of the spanish film music world.
